What to know:

A calm, welcoming atmosphere greets you at the non-gaming Waldorf Astoria. Much of the luxury hotel’s venues and event spaces are several floors up from ground level, so have great views of the Strip. With experienced events staff and strong relationships with outside vendors, the hotel provides traditional ceremony and reception packages but also provides unique options such as brunch weddings or romantic elopements. An event co-ordinator is mandatory for the ceremony and recommended for all other events. The property changed hands a few years ago, but you can get a sense of real weddings in the spaces by looking up Mandarin Oriental events on the blog.

Celebration location options:

Waldorf Ballroom – up to 480 guests. Airy, modern ballroom spaces with an outdoor patio overlooking the Strip;
Ballroom Foyer – up to 150 guests. Modern pre-function space well-suited for ceremonies;
Atriums – up to 104 guests. Divisible into smaller spaces. Although technically conference spaces, they are open and elegant, with natural light through floor-to-ceiling windows, stylish decor, funky light fixtures and even patios boasting breathtaking views of the glittering lights of the famous Strip.
The Edge – up to 10 guests. An intimate private dining room next to the 23rd floor SkyBar;
Twist by Pierre Gagnaire – up to 50 guests. Modern French restaurant on the 23rd floor;
Pool – up to 300 guests. On the 8th floor, offering views of Aria and nearby hotels.
