Justin and Jane had a private ceremony at the LDS Las Vegas Temple, but headed over to Cili at Bali Hai for a ring exchange in front of family and friends and a tropical reception. Teal blues with pastel shades and whites featured alongside a casual, vintage vibe. The natural element was heavy, with wooden accents and botanical details. Perfect for this sunset celebration at what is one of my favorite Las Vegas country clubs.
More from KMH Photography:
Justin and Jane were married on a calm, clear January day at the LDS Temple in Las Vegas. Although I couldn’t view the actual ceremony, I waited outside to see them exit the temple. As their friends and family cheered, the couple’s brothers opened the doors and Justin and Jane appeared, officially presenting themselves as husband and wife. It’s a bit of a tradition after LDS ceremonies to do family and couple’s portraits around the temple grounds, so we spent a bit of time exploring the beautiful church exterior and manicured gardens. Later that afternoon, Justin and Jane had a ring exchange ceremony on the patio at Cili at Bali Hai, a beautiful country club golf course just minutes from the heart of the Las Vegas Strip. It gave them a way to express their commitment to their vows in front of their friends and family.

Every Monday this year we are highlighting a unique Vegas wedding venue in the Ultimate Vegas Wedding Guide! I recently toured the south Pacific themed all-inclusive options at Cili, a restaurant inside the Bali Hai Golf Club. I can’t wait to show you the options available!

Capacity: Up to 250 | Indoor + Outdoor Sites Available

Just minutes from Mandalay Bay and the south end of The Strip is a little tropical getaway and golf course called Bali Hai. Cili, a restaurant inside the club house there, offers full-service wedding services, coordination and catering, hosting 60+ weddings a year. (Cili, pronounced see-lee, is Balinese for prosperity and good health)
The theme and palette could be described as South Seas natural. Warm tones of red, orange and greens combine with organic stones and wood and touches of Polynesian statues and accessories. The golf course is captivatingly beautiful and creates an airy, lush feel when viewed from the patios and restaurant.
A variety of venues are available for ceremonies or receptions, and it is possible to just host a reception. Ceremonies must be booked alongside a reception. Separate indoor and outdoor spaces for ceremony, cocktail hour and reception are available.
Patio: This patio overlooking the stunning 16th hole surrounded by palms and water features will host up to 30 guests. An attached, intimate private dining room for the reception is available for these smaller weddings.
Cili Garden Lawn: The Cili Patio Lawn features a tropical backdrop of the Bali Hai water features, lush grass and palm trees, with space for up to 80 guests.
Cili Restaurant: The ceremony is held on the larger, fully enclosed patio attached to Cili, overlooking the picturesque golf course. Post-ceremony, guests move through the doors into the circular restaurant with in impressive vaulted tray ceiling for the private reception. Hosts larger weddings of up to 250 guests.
Catering + Pricing
Ceremony options are priced from $2500-6500, plus reception minimum food and beverage purchase.Minimum does not include ceremony/reception fee, tax or service fee.
Packages include ceremony seating, minister, rehearsal, florals (bouquet, boutonniere, petals on aisle, centerpieces), a coordinator, rehearsal, setup of: head table, gift table, cake table, favors and place cards, a DJ for the wedding ceremony and reception as well as valet parking.
Catering menu pricing begins from $89 for plated lunch and $135 for plated dinner, buffet options are available. Packages include passed appetizers, meal, wedding cake and open bar. The minimum food and beverage cost varies according to package, date chosen and location, check with a catering manager for specific pricing.
Tantalizing menu options include appetizers like Maine crabcakes with basil remoulade or mini grilled ham & swiss sandwiches. Choices for mains include petite filet and Australian lobster tail with truffled potato puree and sautéed asparagus or char-grilled Mahi Mahi with banana-curry potato puree, snap peas and pineapple plum wine sauce.
Wedding cakes are created in-house by a pastry chef. A server ratio of one to every ten guests will make sure your guests feel well taken care of. Upgrades including custom lighting, dessert and candy tables or signature cocktails are available. If you can think it, the staff at Cili can make it happen!
- The incredible location is well-positioned to the accommodation and convenience of The Strip, but without the stress and high prices
- All-inclusive onsite service reduces any worrying about the details
- A sparkler exit is possible, but due to the proximity to the airport, fireworks or lanterns are not
- Despite the proximity to the airport, I did not find the noise from airplanes noticeable. They were beautiful though!

This wedding shot by Ella Gagiano at Bali Hai Golf Club in Las Vegas has such a tropical dreaminess to it. The palm trees, the rich greens, the flowers in the bride’s hair – it’s enough to get you dreaming about Hawai’i or Tahiti or the beaches of southern Thailand…
~ sigh ~
Okay – back to reality! Mariko and Rob have a bit of tale in that these photos below were shot at their “re-do” wedding. While they loved their first experience with the food, entertainment and service at their original wedding at Cili at Bali Hai, they did experience some disappointment with their original photographer. The photos from the back up photographer did not quite meet their expectations. So they did a re-shoot with Ella a year later, and she got these gorgeous photos. Got me thinking about a “re-do” wedding myself; especially if you could get such pretty photos!
Seems like the second time’s the charm.
