Welcome to Little Vegas Wedding (LVW).

The idea for LVW was born in 2010 while planning my own destination wedding in Las Vegas. After spending countless hours online, navigating through forums, uninformative websites, and sales-driven content, I realized there had to be a better way to find quality information about Vegas weddings. So, in June 2012, I decided to create Little Vegas Wedding.

What Little Vegas Wedding offers

LVW is dedicated to providing inspiration and guidance for couples planning their Las Vegas weddings. Our blog features real Vegas weddings, elopements, and engagements, as well as creative styled wedding shoots to spark your imagination. Whether you’re considering a desert wedding, a chic modern venue, or a unique restaurant reception, you’ll find plenty of ideas here.

In addition to visual inspiration, we offer vendor interviews, helpful Vegas wedding tips, and a comprehensive directory of unique venues and reception options in Las Vegas.

Everything on LVW is written from my perspective as a former Las Vegas destination bride, offering practical advice and personal insights to help you navigate the common challenges and questions that come with planning a wedding in the city. I am to keep the information rich and the b.s. to a minimum.

Meet the editor, Kelly

Hi, I’m Kelly, the creator of Little Vegas Wedding! While I don’t currently call Las Vegas home, I’m there often enough to know my way around. You’ll likely find me hiking the trails at Red Rock, sipping a cocktail at the Chandelier Bar in the Cosmopolitan, savoring sushi at Yui, wandering Fremont Street in the early hours with a Pinkbox Doughnut in hand, or battling the Roller Coaster Tycoon machine at the Pinball Hall of Fame (even though it keeps eating my quarters!)

Little Vegas Wedding is my passion project, born from my love for content creation and the vibrant energy of Las Vegas. My day job keeps me busy, but I always make time for this site because it’s a labor of love. Before launching LVW, I worked as a photo and website editor for a newspaper, which has given me the skills and creativity to bring this platform to life.

My own Vegas wedding is featured on A Practical Wedding and you can learn more about why I started Little Vegas Wedding in an interview with JamieY Photography.

Yeah, but why Vegas?

If you’ve found your way here because you’re planning a Las Vegas wedding, whether locally or as a destination event, congratulations! I genuinely believe that Las Vegas is one of the best places on earth to get married. The city’s charm lies in its ability to cater to a wide range of wedding styles, themes, sizes, and budgets.

When it comes to venues, Las Vegas offers something for everyone: eco-friendly outdoor spots, intimate cocktail receptions, rooftop ceremonies, restaurant receptions, modern hotel chapel weddings, and personal vows set against the breathtaking backdrop of Nevada’s natural desert beauty. There’s an entire world of options beyond the chapel for those dreaming of a modern Las Vegas wedding.

And let’s not forget the incredible wedding professionals in Las Vegas. From talented photographers and florists to skilled planners, officiants, hair and makeup artists, entertainers, and more — there’s a dedicated vendor for every aspect of your big day, ready to make your wedding vision come to life. There really is no better place to say “I do!”

There are many assumptions out there about Vegas weddings, and most of them just aren’t true. Let’s prove them wrong together!
