What do you get when you get a fun couple, a photographer with an eye for vintage and a kitsch retro motel with Americana flair? This set of awesome downtown Vegas wedding photos from Gaby J Photography!
Chelsea and Mike came from North Dakota for their destination Las Vegas wedding. Following a simple ceremony (not pictured) way at one end of The Strip at Little Church of the West, the bride and groom got some fun photos with their bridal party at locations in and around downtown Las Vegas and Fremont. I’m digging the addition of the atmospheric shots of the signage and downtown hotels…and their pizza and drink break mid-shoot!
The colors are fabulous in this set. Gold tones seen in the bridesmaids rocking it out their asymmetrical sequined minidresses to the geometric gold background at the Golden Nugget to the 3D gold wall at the Mandarin Oriental. And there’s pink: a faded Miami pink from the photos at the Fun City Motel – a new twist on retro Las Vegas photos. Don’t forget the peek of baby blue suede shoes under Chelsea’s petally bridal gown, either!
This entire wedding is proof that you don’t need to spend a packet of money at the Neon Museum to capture a certain look for photos in Las Vegas!
