What to know:

One of Mandalay Bayâ€™s best features is the massive pool area. With a wave pool, real sandy beach, lazy river and tropical landscaping, itâ€™s an oasis in the desert â€“ literally. Itâ€™s no surprise, perhaps, that you can also marry there. The dressing lounges are quite pretty, if slightly cozy and compact.

Ceremony upgrade fees provide unique options including inside the Shark Reef Aquarium, near the Strip-facing waterfall and poolside. Wedding reception packages for up to 70 guests are included for a number of restaurants such as Stripsteak, Rivea, Aureole, Libertine Social or Fleur, as well as inside ample, well-appointed suites. External photographers are not permitted.

Celebration location options:

Ceremony locations include aquarium weddings at the Shark Reef (up to 10 guests) or Seascape (up to 50 guests). The aquarium features 15 species of shark, and 1.5 million gallons of seawater. There is only space for 10 guests who must stand as the ceremony takes place inside the shark tunnel in the aquarium.
Seascape has an expanded reception space (and patio!) that envelopes you in marine splendour as sharks swim by you and your guests â€œunder the seaâ€ past floor to ceiling windows.
The wedding chapel is modern and minimal with a color theme of cream mixed with dark brown woods. It overlooks the pool and beach area at Mandalay Bay. The larger Platinum chapel has a capacity of 100 guests, and weddings under 50 guests take place in the Silver and Gold chapels. The foyer of the chapel (which is quite pretty, actually) is available for intimate ceremonies, as well.

Poolside at Mandalay Beach (up to 50 guests) With a beach and rolling waves, this is considered one of the nicest pool complexes on the Strip
Next to a waterfall at Valley of the Falls (up to 50 guests). This outdoor location and rotunda is the waterfall situated at the front of the property outside the hotel entrance nestled amongst palms, tropical foliage and sculptures, seemingly exposed but in reality is very secluded. Itâ€™s a bit of a walk to get there, but itâ€™s quite lovely, and if you have any concerns over noise from vehicles on the nearby Strip, donâ€™t. They are completely blocked out by the white noise of the crashing water, and any tourists walking through are redirected by staff. There are options for where you can place the altar and aisle.
