There is no doubt about it: Las Vegas is one special place to pop the question. I’m a pretty private and shy person so these are not all my style, but I still love the thought and effort that went into these amazing Vegas proposals in, around and even above Sin City.
From flash mobs to private concerts, ferris wheels to fountains — you’re sure to find something amazing to inspire you. And maybe even trigger a few teary moments when you view the videos. Who’s that cutting onions in here?!
1. Private Poetry Proposal — Planet Hollywood
With some help from The Heart Bandits and Something New Films, Gary proposed to Monifa in a private spoken word poetry performance at Planet Hollywood’s Sin City Theatre.
2. Getting Lucky — High Roller
The High Roller ferris wheel is one of the newest additions to The Strip and the beautiful view makes it a great opportunity to propose, like Patrick did with Cecilia in this video secretly recorded by photographer Ella Gagiano and set up with the help of event planner Andrea Eppolito.

3. Jackpot Proposal — NYNY Hotel and Casino
Marco popped the question to Karen at NYNY on a giant slot machine the staff helped set up ahead of time with photos of the couple rigged to go off when Karen pulled the handle.

4. Magical Marriage Proposal — The LINQ
Magician Rob Anderson helped James propose to his girlfriend Nicole at The LINQ after coming in from Germany.
5. DIY Sneaky Video — Caesars Palace
Isaac set up his own DIY recording of his proposal to girlfriend Valerie in Ceasars Palace. Not that surprising (or out of the ordinary) from a guy who is a professional videographer.
6. Surprise Vegas Trip — Palazzo Atrium
Prem surprises his girlfriend Manisha with a trip to Vegas, where he proposed via a flash mob with 30 of her friends and family at the atrium at Palazzo on 11/11/11!

7. Magical Ring — Bellagio Fountains
Another magical trick, this time from Justin Flom in a proposal he helped make happen for Xavier and Cecy in front of the Bellagio fountains with a ring trick.
8. Viva Las Proposal — Fremont Street Experience
Viva Vision is a huge light and sound show on the canopy above Fremont Street, and you can customize a proposal to happen on the sign, like Brian did for Dana. You can inquire about your own proposal by calling (702) 678-5600.
9. Just Say Oui! — Paris Las Vegas
Britney and Chase’s proposal was recorded on a hidden GoPro camera as Chase proposed at the top of the Eiffel Tower at Paris.
10. Taking the Plunge — Stratosphere
Gordon fell for girlfriend Jen hard, completing a 855-foot SkyJump off Stratosphere before proposing to her when he landed.
11. Up in Lights — Harmon Corner
Maria is proposed to by Pancho via a message on the huge Harmon Corner LED sign. You can set up your own proposal on the sign.
12. Colossal Proposal — Bally’sÂ
Giant slot machines are fun by themselves, but what about when the jackpot is a marriage proposal? Here is Jim getting lucky while proposing to Paige on “Colossus” the massive slot machine at Bally’s.

Marques proposed to his dancer girlfriend Karina during a UNLV basketball game, where she happened to be performing with the Rebel Girls.

Proposals on the gondolas at Venetian are pretty popular, but I love the bride-to-be’s face when she is surprised by all her friends and family who were secretly hiding nearby!

Joseph proposed to Erika at the beautiful Sunset Park in Las Vegas with the help of Flash Mob America.
16. iPad Proposal — Bellagio Conservatory
Tyler and Candace were engaged at the Bellagio conservatory. It was there that Tyler arranged to have an iPad personalized with a slideshow to Candace with photos of their firsts together and messages from family and friends on why she should say yes!
17. Dolphin Proposal — Mirage
Chris made use of Siegfried & Roy’s Secret Garden and Dolphin Habitat at Mirage and had dolphin Huff-n-Puff “paint” a proposal to his girlfriend Britni.

18. Patio Proposal — Bellagio Fountains
Following a romantic dinner at Olives at Bellagio, Kris and Kelly were engaged on the patio overlooking the Bellagio fountains.
19. Sport Celebrity Surprise — Luxor
The NY Giants’ Prince Amukamara proposed to his girlfriend Pilar at a Jabbawockeez performance at Luxor. Prince was hiding under a mask as he danced up to her and surprised her on stage.

20. Falling for You — Skydiving
Another 11/11/11 proposal! For this one, Nick and Jay went on a tandem skydive and after they took the plunge, they decided to take another one. Nothing seems that scary after jumping from a plane…
21. Romantic Flash Mob — Tivoli Village
Samantha and Ryan’s Valentines Day proposal flash mob at Tivoli Village was pulled off with the help of Las Vegas Flash Mob in a slower, more romantic style.
22. You Want a Piece of Me — Planet HollywoodÂ
When both you and your girlfriend are huge fans of Britney Spears it only makes sense to propose at one of Britney’s shows, like Chris did with Blanca at Piece of Me at Planet Hollywood on Valentines Day. Chris got a lot of help for this one, including from the BreathHeavy Britney Spears fanpage.
23. Clowning Around — Container ParkÂ
Red carpet, balloons and clowns: Miguel set up an elaborate flash mob at the Container Park in downtown Vegas to propose to Patricia, with help from friends and Photographika Las Vegas. I love that the proposal video includes footage of the ring being made.

24. Fremont Flash Mob — Fremont Street Experience
Hubert proposed to Samantha in a flash mob on Fremont in this proposal caught on camera from the pros at Memory Lane Video. They incorporated birds eye view angles from the top of the zipline and even via a camera man on inline skates! This was another proposal set up with the help of Flash Mob Las Vegas!
25. Travel Presenter Proposal — Planet Hollywood Miracle Mile Shops
One way to DIY a proposal on video? Trick your girlfriend into thinking she’s auditioning for a travel show. That’s what Andrew made his girlfriend Katie believe when they flew to Vegas for a trip, back to the city where they first met.
26. A Lil’ Bit Country — Bally’s
After watching all these videos, I can tell you a lot of people like to use Bruno Mars songs for proposals, so I was happy to highlight Kelsie and Nathan’s country-themed flash mob outside Bally’s. Another proposal set up with the help of Las Vegas Flash Mob.
27. Heli-Proposal — Las Vegas Strip/Grand Canyon
Brendan proposed to Brittany in a limo, then celebrated when he whisked her away in a helicopter ride to the Grand Canyon to enjoy champagne before flying over The Strip in this Memory Lane Video proposal movie. (No video embed, click photo to view video.)
