Ruffles. That’s what I thought when I saw this wedding. RUFFLES! The dress is so ruffly and frilly and gorgeous.
I pored over every image JamieY Photography sent to me, marvelling not only at that dress and the colors (amethyst colored gowns! jewel toned orchids!) but the emotion and pure joy in the photos. I love weddings with great parties – and Las Vegas weddings have a lock down on that. Looks like everyone is having a blast at this wedding held on the rolling greens of TPC Summerlin Country Club.
Jamie says the day started at JW Marriott, where she began photographing the bride, Melissa, and her bridal party getting ready. 9037 Salon were on hand to help Melissa look her best. When it came time to “gown up” the ruffly Maggie Sottero bridal dress went on in all its layered goodness, and a gorgeous necklace that could fit in on Oscar night in Hollywood went on.
Marc and Melissa got this party started with a choreographed number to the delight of their guests, and then a mariachi band entertained during dinner. Looks like so much fun!
Melissa’s “something blue” was a tiny baby pin that happened to belong to Marc, her husband-to-be.
Floral designs came from Enchanted Florist.
Love this light filled photo of “The Boys!”
The glamorous rhinestone banded cake was from Las Vegas Custom Cakes.
Delicious varieties of popcorn from local vendor The Popcorn Girl were available for wedding guests.
See? PARTY!
