General Information: This is the oldest building on the Strip being built in 1942 (but not the oldest church, that honor goes to Wee Kirk o’ the Heather) so it’s a real part of the history in the city. It’s a cute wooden chapel made of California redwood and I’ve heard it’s very quaint and cozy inside. A number of celebrities have wed (and subsequently unwed) here through the years and it has moved a few times since it opened in 1942. The chapel can seat up to 50 people, maximum capacity is 75. They allow guests to take photos during the ceremony if your package allow it, but only while seated.
Saturdays are a bit of zoo, and the chapel can get very busy with a ‘conveyor belt-like feel’ according to one bride. If more personal service matters to you, avoid Saturdays. There are no candles allowed due to the building’s historic nature.
Receptions: Ceremonies only.
