General Information: Looking for first-class, private and refined? Look no further. The wedding salons at Wynn offer a more luxurious and elegant wedding, vow renewal or commitment ceremony than most places on the Strip, and they should at the prices they charge. Martha Stewart’s niece, Sophie Herbert, recently held her small wedding there, with the help of the Martha Stewart Weddings crew, of course.
Wynn offers three venues in their chapel, two indoors and one outdoors. The Lilac Salon accommodates 65 guests, Lavender Salon: 120 guests and the outdoors Primrose Court 100 people. However, they have also held ceremonies in suites, in their nightclub, TRYST and in other locations around the property, so it cannot hurt to ask if you have a special place in mind.
New for spring 2013 are two locations, designed for smaller weddings. The Zen ceremony takes place inside the main foyer/Tranquility Hall at Encore’s Spa, which has an Eastern theme with Buddha statues, golden Moroccan inspired decor and plush Persian carpets. This ceremony is priced at $4,790 and can take place daily after 9pm with a maximum of 10 guests. The other location is on the Lake of Dreams Terrace. This lakeside ceremony takes place next to a 40 foot waterfall and a screen that projects a colorful show every half hour. 20 guests can attend the 30 minute ceremony for $2,490 with the price rising a little on Saturday afternoons.
Price Range: Renewals start at $1,090 and ceremonies begin at $1,690 running up to $23,590. Prices run higher on weekend afternoons, and there are additional add ons and extra charges for using special spaces and locations, such as the Primrose Garden.
Packages Can Include: Flowers, photography, videography, suites, wedding consultants, ministers and Champagne toasts, all the way up to dedicated limo service, brunch in bed, show tickets and exclusive suite access. The sky is the limit here. The bridal design team has an extensive collection of add-ons available, from jewels for chair backs to hurricane candle lanterns as well as elaborate chuppahs and sand ceremony or candle lighting sets. Included in all packages are a wedding coordinator, flowers, a photography session and officiant.
Outside Photographers Allowed: Yes, for a fee
Receptions: Receptions range from intimate ones in restaurants to grand banquet hall filling events. Catering is provided in house, from one of the hotels thirteen choices, all manned by top chefs.
