Caesars Palace – Venus Garden

Caesars Palace – Venus Garden

Surrounded by tropical palm trees, a blooming floral landscape and Roman architecture, the Venus Garden is a beautiful outdoor wedding venue seating up to 114 guests. The garden features a Roman-style temple, a koi fishpond, fountain and a unique stone-tiled aisle. Features stone bench seating and a domed structure to exchange vows under. It is not quite as private as Juno Garden, but is larger. There is mixed information on having outside photographers and other vendors. It’s a $200 fee for outside florals, and photographers may incur a $400 fee: depending on who you talk to. I got two different answers from two different people, Caesars Palace chapel staff stating it was not possible, but also a photographer who shot there telling me the fee was $400.

Reception Options: In-house receptions through the catering department are available for 20 guests and up. A number of restaurants on property are popular with couples for reception dinners including Serendipity 3, Restaurant Guy Savoy, Rao’s, Bradley Ogden, Mesa Grill and Bacchanal Buffet. In the attached Forum Shops restaurant options include: Cheesecake Factory, Joe’s Stonecrab, Spago, Max Brenner, Trevi and The Palm. Border Grill is set to open a second location sometime soon in the former PJ Clarke’s space. They already host receptions at their Mandalay Bay location, so this will be a good option.

Cosmopolitan – The Chelsea Theater

Cosmopolitan – The Chelsea Theater

The Chelsea is a concert space and some time event venue that might be well suited to the right couple for their wedding. Design inspiration came from an abandoned glass factory turned working theater at this industrial-style venue, which features cast glass chandeliers, a vintage lobby bar, private VIP opera boxes and a decorative grand staircase. In addition, remnant brick tiling, an eclectic collection of stage production props and a state-of-the-art sound system create the ideal environment to bring your story to life. With 40,000 square feet of transformable “black box” space split over  two levels, The Chelsea is a brilliant adaptable backdrop for intimate conversations as well as large scale productions. From concerts to banquets, classroom settings and sporting events, The Chelsea offers spectacular, one-of-a-kind experiences for conference and concert-goers alike.

Reception Options: Little information is available on events at The Chelsea so far, but in-house catering for buffet and plated meals starts $105 per person through Cosmopolitan’s catering department. Bar packages start at $29 per person.

Venetian – Wedding Chapels

Venetian – Wedding Chapels

The wedding salon for Palazzo and Venetian is inside the Venezia tower, featuring three chapels; Jasmine and Gardenia are the smaller of the three and Magnolia is the largest, hosting up to 150 guests. All three chapels feature large windows, oversized plants and attention to detail in the drapery, carpeting and ceilings with Chiavari chairs instead of pews for seating. There are attached outdoor terraces to the chapel for weddings as well. Their website does not do the best job of featuring photos of the various locations and options (watch this video for a good tour), but there are some very lovely indoor and outdoor options, many of which are quite public, so be warned if you are a private couple.

Reception Options: In-house catering begins at $76 per person, hosted bars from at $31 per person. Popular on-site restaurant options include Canaletto, Bouchon, Carnevino, CUT, Delmonico and Grand Lux Cafe.

Veil Wedding Pavilion at Silverton Lodge and Casino

Veil Wedding Pavilion at Silverton Lodge and Casino

Silverton Lodge and Casino is an hotel with a rustic outdoors theme just three miles south of The Strip. Veil Pavilion is an 11,000 square foot facility that can take you from ceremony to wedding reception all under one roof. Services include catering, bar, photography and entertainment. The decor is white on white, with a few nods to the outdoor theme of the Silverton Casino, including some funky antler chandeliers.

High ceilings enhance the large stage (the venue is also used for concerts) and dance floor. The space can be designed to include small sitting areas and private areas for the bride and groom with the white theme makes it a flexible palette for any event design and make it a very modern space. In addition to Veil, couples can be married poolside at Silverton’s Sway Pool Lounge or underwater in the huge saltwater aquarium.
