Woodsy, Rustic Wedding at Legends Ranch | The Amberlight Collective

From first touch to last dance,Â Bridget and Jason infused theirÂ wedding at Las Vegas’s Legends Ranch with rustic goodness. Sunflowers, wood and glowing candles created a romantic, casual atmosphere.

The Amberlight Collective were not originally going to shoot this wedding, but when Bridget and Jason’s original photographer had a family emergency, wedding planning Archel Rolwing recruited them. Using a planner was key for these two as they were travelling from California to get married, withÂ just four months to plan. After touring the grounds of Legends Ranch, complete with trees, horse stables and all the rustic touches of a former working horse ranch, they were smitten.

FAVORITE MEMORY

My favorite and most special part about the entire day was probably when Jason and I got to pray together before the ceremony and before even seeing each other. That, to me, meant so much. I remember being so incredibly nervous about the whole thing but as soon as I heard Jason’s voice (which was also super weird without being able to see his face! Especially since I hadn’t seen or talked to him all day long) I calmed down almost completely.

DETAILS + DECOR

Some of the rustic touches of the wedding included multiple sized glass cylinders with candles burning inside at the altar, perched atop old tree stumps. Tablescapes featured twisted driftwoodÂ with mason jars and wine bottles full of flowers and wine corks sprinkled throughout. The cake was modelled after an aspen tree that weÂ carved ourÂ initials into.

Instead of pouring unity sand or lighting a candle, we had a wood board with three ropes on it and a verse â€”Â A cord of three strands is not easily broken, from Ecclesiastes 4:12. The two ropes on the outside represented us, with the one in the middle representing God. We braided the three ropes together which meant that we were tying our marriage in with God right in the middle.
