In an elegant event in October at MJ Christensen Diamonds bridal designer Megan Thompson of Mina Olive revealed her beautiful spring collection of stunning wedding dresses to a packed store of fashion fans. The gowns were all designed and sewn in Las Vegas, out of the Mina Olive atelier at Tivoli Village.
The collection featured mainly full skirted dramatic gowns, with exquisite layering and ruffled and draped details. Up on top, sweetheart necklines were a prominent feature with beautiful strap embellishments, including petals on one gown and gorgeous lace half sleeves and cuffs on others.
Bodices featured yet more lace, tulle and on one gown, elaborate beading that added some sparkle. The models carried bouquets by Flora Couture and were adorned with gems and jewels from MJ Christensen as they walked the “runway.”
More on what it was like behind the scenes from Megan, in the lead up to this beautiful affair:
The beautiful gowns showcased on the runway are the grand finale of a hectic, chaotic and creative period in time. The Mina Olive Fall Fashion Show was the icing on the cake after months of designing, sewing, fitting and planning. All of the little hiccups that happened got washed away when the music started for the first walk of night.
MJ Christensen’s was the perfect venue decorated beautifully and filled with the air of anticipating admirers of the gorgeous dresses and diamonds adorning them. Behind each walk was a busy backstage filled with models changing, makeup artists powdering and a designer getting everyone into place. High energy and the upbeat attitudes of everyone involved made this night perfect.Â
