Have you ever considered renting items for your wedding? I did! As much as I would personally like to have $5,000 gowns littering my closet, it ain’t going to happen. But Rent the Runway makes high fashion accessible by offering big labels at tiny prices. Their motto? Why buy when you can rent and save – and I agree!
So, how does it work? You pick out a designer item – Rent the Runway offers dresses, shoes, accessories, even Halloween costumes – for a 4 or 8 day period. Your items are shipped to you (even if it’s a hotel address), and when you are done, you ship them back. They take care of the cleaning, and you even get a second backup size incase the first doesn’t fit! Basically: it’s ever changing rentable couture items with affordable pricing. It’s kind of like raiding the closet of a very fashionable friend.
While they do beautiful gowns perfect for a wedding, I am really partial to their handbags. I like the idea of having a special one for a special event. With most of the choices below costing about $40, it’s a lovely way to inject some high style and personality into your Vegas wedding wear, without having to break the bank! (Plus you can use it at all the events before and after the wedding!)
