Eldorado Engagement Session | Key Lime Photography

It’s been a while since an Eldorado Canyon shoot was featured on Little Vegas Wedding, so I thought today’s engagement would be a nice re-introduction. It’s got some great ring shots, cool typographic and rustic prop details, the awesome scenery of the former mining town and of course, a killer couple. You’ve gotta check these two out!

Ventura and Terrence met up with Key Lime Photography at the little scenic town (sometimes called Nelson ghost town) for this engagement session. The props were brought by the photographers, but Ventura, the bride to be, had the idea for the message to write on the chalkboards.

This couple met while working together at a Strip resort, and began dating in the summer of 2012. Terrence asked Ventura to marry him in a really touching way several months later. Be sure to read their proposal story below, with the pictures!

The dynamic duo will be holding their wedding in Vegas during the summer of 2014. Best of luck to you during your wedding planning, Ventura and Terrence!

And how did the proposal go down?

Ventura fills us in: “Memorial Day weekend – March 25th to be exact – we had just finished working a 15-hour shift and we were on our way home from work at 6am. I was starving so we stopped at Roberto’s for burritos. (editor’s note: yum!) I remember specifically saying, “Hunny, you can never propose to me, I love you but you’re just not romantic, if you did something romantic I’d think you did something wrong,” and he laughed about that.

“On our way home he asked me to drive through the back entrance of our gated community. When we got closer, he asked me to pull off the road at the same spot where he had first told me that he wanted to spend the rest of his life with me. He then told me how much he loved me and wanted to spend the rest of his life with me, as the sun was coming up. Of course, me being the sarcastic person I am said, “Are you asking me to marry you??” He said yes, my response was then, “Do you have something to back it up??” He said, “Like this??” And pulled out my ring… With that the word “yes” just kept coming out of my mouth.”

Awwww! Aren’t romantic surprises when you least expect them the best?!
