Welcome to another edition of Sunday Funday – a round up of the best in Vegas wedding news and links, plus some beautiful stuff from the rest of the wide world web of weddings!
Ever since I started doing Sunday posts (and posting 6 days a week) in July, I have to say my summer has flown by in a flurry of blogging. But that’s okay – I always think of autumn and winter being more my speed, anyhow. In any case, bye-bye August! I hope you’re able to squeeze any last bits of summer fun into the final week of “official” summer!

» “In sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, till breakfast us do part.” Wait, what? The Vegas Chapter of the United Church of Bacon, has been offering officiant services at Vegas weddings since April. No fees, just a donation to the “friends of bacon,” if you can. The church stands for bacon, but also marriage equality and offers non-secular ceremonies. One of the most famous bacon praisers is Vegas resident, illusionist and skeptic Penn Jillette. Hat tip to Las Vegas Weekly for the link.
» Keeping with strange wedding officiants, DJ Tiësto oversaw a wedding last week, just as promised. He Tweeted photographic proof with the newlywed and very lucky couple chosen from 15,000 applicants (!)

» Save the Date for October 3! Local wedding dress designer Mina Olive will be debuting their Spring gown collection on October 3 in a fashion show at MJ Christensen Jewelers Boca Park location. Be sure to watch for details here as the date gets closer!
» For blog news, I did a quick reordering of the menus on the navigation bar at the top there. Hopefully it will make it easier to browse the blog for the wedding theme, wedding venue and even color theme that interests you a little bit easier.
