It seems like there has been a Springs Preserve wedding every week on Little Vegas Wedding lately, and I’m loving it! They all have their unique charm and style, and of course: unique couples. Today’s Preserve couple, Ruth and David, planned their destination wedding from Canada, and had Gaby J Photography there for the befores, durings and afters of their little Vegas wedding. ;)
The wedding was held in March, so there were some beautiful buds just starting to bloom around the gardens. The foliage, greenery and flowers are definitely some of the many reasons I love Springs Preserve weddings. The fresh green and white color palette carries that through to the event.
Pre-ceremony, the bridal party did a little portrait shoot with stops at the Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas sign and some romping in the desert. Ruth shows off the perfect reason to wear two dresses on your wedding day. And aren’t her boots great?
After their Gardens Arboretum sunset ceremony, Ruth and David chose to use the Frame House for a cocktail hour lit by warm cafe light strings overhead. Then guests headed to the reception, held in the window filled Gardens Terrace.
Scrabble letters served as table number for guests to find their seats from wine cork escort cards. Burlap linens layered with fresh green and white florals in mason jars took simple rustic elegance to a whole new level on the mix of round and rectangular tables.
Gaby, the photographer writes: “Ruth wanted to keep things simplistic with a desert, eco-friendly charm that went perfect with Nevada’s Springs Preserve where they held their wedding at.”
