Mississippi-based photographer Lindsay Vallas attended this styled wedding shoot with 14 other photographers during the 2013 Wedding Portrait & Photography International (WPPI) conference this past March. The concept and styling which I would describe as “gilded 1950s desert wedding” came from Bensten Photography and Kelli West Photography.
Shot at Floyd Lamb State Park, this faux wedding featured 1950s details, a golden tablescape with peach and pale pastel tones atop Tiffany blue linens. The “bride” Lauren, even wore a golden gown with a cozy fur stole.
The neutral tones make this feel like it naturally belongs in the desert, it’s so gorgeous! Have a look and get some inspiration for your vintage or desert wedding or for gold and turquoise color palettes!
