I love weddings that show the majesty of nature and the magical intimacy of small weddings. This amazing elopement was shot by Taylored Photo Memories and is of an absolutely thrilling wedding that transported the couple via helicopter to the edge of the Grand Canyon. The bride and groom, Krista and Danny, are actually from my home province of Alberta and had an adventure elopement in Vegas, and were wed by Angie Kelly.
I can’t imagine walking on the gravel and rocks was easy for the bride, Krista, but she looks absolutely stunning and serene in the photos. Also it has to be some sort of crazy good luck to see a rainbow in the desert on your wedding day, right? Gorgeous.
Something I found interesting is that Krista booked and planned the entire wedding herself. There are plenty of package companies that will take care of everything for your adventure wedding, but you may find something lacking in your planning. So, it can be done – and it can be beautiful.
