The first thing I noticed from today’s wedding? The bride Ashley’s absolutely dazzling smile. Every single photo, it looks like she is having the time of her life – and so does everyone else attending. This destination wedding photographed by j. anne photography at Westin Lake Las Vegas transformed the stunning hotel venue into a theatre, if only for one night.
A palette of vibrant marine blue with pops of yellow energized the overall theme which combined theatre inspired and art deco details. The bride, who is a professional dancer, came to Las Vegas with her husband all the way from Australia. I love the “costume change” part way through the reception – Ashley exchanges her full ballroom style tulle skirt for a sexier, more fitted version!
Following a ceremony under the gazebo at the Andalusian Gardens, the reception took place on the other side of the beautiful Westin property. The layout pulled together both long rectangular tables and smaller rounds. Crystals and feathers decorated tabletops, and added to the sparkly feel as the sun set and the candles were lit. Cozy fires provided a lounge feel to the open air patio while a jazz band played. If you love your wine, I encourage you to steal the couple’s guestbook idea: wine corks signed by guests!
