When I was thinking of a particularly sparkly event or wedding to feature on the blog for Super Sparkle Week, this styled wedding shoot, photographed by Nancy Van Thorre Photography, immediately leapt to mind, and not just because of the fabulous navy sequined linens by La Tavola!
Shot in the glittery downtown Las Vegas core at a fabulous retro restaurant and lounge called The Barrymore, this styled shoot conceived and coordinated by Scheme Events is a little vintage, with a real slam of glam (and a little dash of sex appeal.)
The venue offers an old school speakeasy feel, but the decor and design are infused with more contemporary elements like a metallic ombre cake and slinky bridal fashion. Woven in are a few little unexpected concepts to shake things up as well – like beer tasting flights, and a Las Vegas skyline sign and map designed by Paper & Home which wedding guests “marked” with the notecards on the locations they visited over the wedding weekend.
A sparkly deep blue linens adds depth to the golden details and reflective finishes of the tablescape, making this shoot truly shine. Pops of crisp white in the florals, china and stationery accent and anchor everything. I think you’ll agree it fits right in here on Super Sparkle Week and is a perfect way to end this fun run of posts!
Psst! Don’t forget to enter Super Sparkle Week’s contest to win over $200 worth of sparklers, sponsored by VIP Sparklers! Your last chance to enter is Sunday evening.
