For the past two weeks, I’ve been running a series of Valentines in Vegas posts, and one of the entries was on romantic places to pop the question. I left out a VERY popular place for proposals on that list, the Eiffel Tower at Paris Las Vegas. Mostly because I was saving this great engagement story for Valentines Day!

The Eiffel Tower at Paris Las Vegas is an incredibly popular place to ask for a hand in marriage for many reasons. For one, it’s got an INCREDIBLE view. Seriously; look at this! These photos from Thomas Ashley Photography are jaw dropping.

On top of that, it’s got a heavy dose of French romanticism. It IS an Eiffel Tower replica, after all!
So when Joe, from Boston, asked Matt Thomas of Thomas Ashley Photography to be there to capture his (hopeful) proposal to his girlfriend Staci, he jumped at the chance. And things went down with a big OUI OUI!
Matt said he basically pretended to be a tourist, shooting photos of the beautiful view from the top of the Eiffel Tower, waiting for the right moment when Joe started to ask Staci those four famous words.
Then he turned the camera on them and caught the whole thing…

Staci cried and got excited. She’d never been to Vegas before – what a wonderful introduction! Turns out Joe had been planning the trip for months, and had done all the proper things, like ask Staci’s parents … and set up a photographer for the occasion!

Staci got on the phone to tell all the important people, and the couple started walking to check out the Bellagio Fountains, Planet Hollywood, Cosmopolitan and Crystals and even the Welcome to Las Vegas sign on their engagement photo tour. They got a little smoochy smoochy, of course.
