Beauty on the Lake {Lake Las Vegas}

I’m not sure what the protocol is on this, but when this wedding was shot, it was at the Loews Lake Las Vegas, which is now the Westin Lake Las Vegas. Okay. Just so we’re clear. :-)

The scenery at this venue is gorgeous – it’s got a Moroccan vibe with orange and burnt sienna hues mixed with the deep blues of the lake. I have a few weddings queued up to feature on LVW of this venue and I’m excited about each one!

Today’s event was shot by Kristen Hansen at KMH Photography though, and it’s gorgeous. I love the sweeping vista where the bride and groom (Allison and Chris) share a kiss as if they were the only people in the world. Goosebumps!

Sure, I love brides with tattoos, but now I have a new love – brides with their pets! I love that Allison’s little dog was around for her getting ready.

Aren’t the shots of the details beautiful? I am pretty much obligated to highlight photos weddings with succulents, but the overall mossy greens and woodsy feel are so cozy. Also loving the Polaroid guestbook! A girl after my own heart…
