Pete and Katie are a couple of nurses from Minnesota who escaped to Las Vegas for a completely charming elopement at Chapel of the Flowers. While they were there, they had a post-wedding shoot with Taylored Wedding Photos, doing a mini-Strip photo tour in and around Bellagio. Katie is the very definition of a glowing bride, isn’t she?

Reception – Eiffel Tower Restaurant at Paris Las Vegas
We left the chapel and headed straight to Paris Las Vegas where we had dinner in the Eiffel Tower. It was wonderful and breathtaking watching the sunset from up there! After a delicious meal, we went see the Cirque du Soleil “Beatles LOVE”, where we had front row tickets! The show was amazing and the actors have us a copy of the program and included us in the show! It was so neat!!!!! After the show we celebrated with ice cream sundaes and shakes at a place in the Mirage.
Memorable Moments
Everything about the day seemed so magical. I remember walking down the strip with Pete while getting our pictures taken and everyone was moving out of the way and taking pictures with their phones and cameras and wishing us well. It was so fun! Everyone wanted to tell us good luck!!!
DIY Details
My mom made my bouquet for me, and added little trinkets that were hidden to symbolize my two kids who weren’t with us. They were able to watch it online though so that was fun!
Katie and Pete’s #1 tip for other couples planning a Las Vegas elopement
Make sure you have a photographer! I was ok with just using the photos from the chapel but Pete convinced me that we should have some professional ones taken and I am so thankful we did. The ones from the wedding were ok, but they weren’t as personal or as fantastic as the ones we got from McKenzi!!! I would recommend her a millions times over. I’ve told her this a few times, but she really made us feel at home and it was like we were amongst friends while getting our pictures done. No pressure, no silly “hold this pose and smile like this” it was great.
Guest Count + Budget
We had Pete’s mom and his sister come with, and we didn’t set a budget. We just made a list of what we wanted and did our best to research the best options. To be honest, I’m not sure what the final cost was but it was money well spent. It was the best day we’ve had so far!!!
