Excalibur – The Wedding Chapel
Over the years, Excalibur has softened the medieval theme, and the chapel is not as Renaissance fair’d out as you might think, m’lady. However, for those who do enjoy the middle ages, the wedding chapel works with a custom costume company and has a wide range of renaissance period themed outfits for men and women available for rent. Mixed reviews online about how they look, but with other costume rental companies in town, you have choices.
There are two chapel sizes available, and both feature stained glass, trimmed topiaries (faux) and single chair style seating instead of pews. The larger of the chapels features a very nice vaulted cathedral style ceiling. Floral supplied by Foxtail Floral
Reception Options: In addition to ceremonies, the coordinators will also help you set up a reception on site through hotel catering, from $45 a person and up. There is a Bucca di Beppo just down the hall from the chapel as well, with great group rates.
Mandalay Bay – Shark Reef Aquarium
15 species of shark, and 1.5 million gallons of seawater surround the ceremony and reception venues at Mandalay Bay’s Shark Reef aquarium. Weddings in the aquarium must take place before 9am, Sunday through Thursday, and only have space for 10 guests who must stand as the ceremony takes place inside the shark tunnel in the aquarium.
The Seascape Ballroom opened in 2013, with an expanded reception space (and patio!) that envelopes you in marine splendour as sharks swim by you and your guests “under the sea” past floor to ceiling windows. With space for 80 guests, ceremonies and receptions are possible here from 7am to 11pm daily. Receptions are only possible in this space as an add-on to an existing Mandalay Bay ceremony package.
New York New York – Big Apple Roller Coaster
New York New York does not offer a wedding chapel like nearby sister hotels MGM Grand or Excalibur, but they do make up for it with their one option: a roller coaster wedding! This short 15 minute ceremony is performed before you take a crazy ride on The Big Apple Coaster, in the morning or evening.
Reception Options: Ballrooms and on-site catering are available, in addition to restaurants such as Nine Fine Irishmen and Il Fornaio.
Venetian + Palazzo – Gondolas
This ceremony takes place on the winding Grand Canal of the Shoppes at Venetian, on a special white and gold gondola used only for weddings. The gondolas are quite small, and there is just room for the couple marrying, and one guest, depending on the package chosen. The canals wind through the attached shopping mall, even going outside at some points and come complete with singing gondoliers.
Reception Options: In-house catering begins at $76 per person, hosted bars from at $31 per person. Popular on-site restaurant options include Canaletto, Bouchon, Carnevino, CUT, Delmonico and Grand Lux Cafe.
High Roller Ferris Wheel Weddings
The 550-foot High Roller Ferris wheel is garnering attention up and down The Strip. This oversized observation wheel towering over the hotels is (currently) the largest in the world, and a rotation take 30 minutes to complete. Each pod will hold up to 40 people. It is located just behind Quad, off The LINQ shopping arcade.
“Official” wedding packages are priced between $2045 and $6270, depending on how many rotations you would like and what add-ons you get, including photography, flowers, wedding suites at Flamingo and more. The wedding takes place in a private cabin. Like many weddings at Caesars properties, there will likely be an opportunity to bring in your own photographer for a fee. You could also go your own way and get a mobile wedding company to marry you.
Reception Options: A number of restaurants on-site in The LINQ and in nearby hotels might be suitable for a casual reception afterwards.
Discovery Children’s Museum
Located steps from The Smith Center for the Performing Arts and not far from the lively Fremont Street in downtown Las Vegas, the DISCOVERY Children’s Museum is a new venue that is hosting eclectic and imaginative weddings and events. It’s perfect for couples seeking the unusual and offbeat for their wedding as it’s a three-story museum packed with crazy colors, educational displays and interactive exhibits promoting science, art and culture for kids.
The venue best suited to hosting wedding ceremonies is likely Fantasy Festival, a theatre-style event with a stage for puppet shows you can get married on. Receptions are best in the 5,000 square foot Traveling Exhibit Hall. Classrooms can convert into bridal suites and groom’s rooms. However, the entire museum is available for customization and the special events staff will work with you to find the best set-up for your wedding. There are no outdoor sites at Discovery, but there are courtyards at the nearby Smith Center available.A full museum buyout is $10,000 and can hold up to 1,000 guests, for a five hour event, but packages can be customized for the couple. A list of preferred vendors is provided upon request.

Paris Las Vegas – Eiffel Tower
The Eiffel Tower at Paris Las Vegas is an engineering wonder, built from Gustave Eiffel’s original plans, at one-half scale. It’s the most recognizable icon of the City of Light, re-created here in the City of Lights. You’ll be on top of the world as you say “I do” at a height of 460 feet above the famed Las Vegas Strip, with a view nearly as heart-stopping as the person with whom you’ll be tying the knot. You and your guests will thrill to a dazzling, 360-degree look at the city’s renowned landmarks for an unmatched matrimonial experience. Ceremonies may host up to 12 guests standing room only, and only at 9:30am daily (except for with the Diamond package.)
Reception Options: Mon Ami Gabi at the base of the Eiffel Tower and the Eiffel Tower Restaurant both offer reception dinner packages.
