Red Rock Canyon
There are two official spots for weddings at Red Rock Canyon, Red Spring at Calico Basin and Dedication Overlook, both about 30 minutes drive off Strip. Although you could in theory have a reception out there, it would have to be picnic style. Red Spring has a boardwalk area and is more forested, while Dedication Overlook offers expansive vistas of the Red Rock Mountain range. You must apply for a wedding permit before you hold your wedding there, and also arrange for your own officiant.

Dream of getting married on horseback in the desert, western style? Sagebrush Ranch offers packages for horseback weddings at sunset, including transportation to the ranch, a minister, flowers and a steak dinner reception including cake! Perfect for those seeking a little rustic charm. Additional guests can come along for the ride for $149.
You may see Eldorado Canyon referred to as Eldorado Ghost Town or Nelson’s Landing, but the venue is the same. This unique cross between deserted desert town and quirky antique display is a perfect place for rustic weddings, about 45 minutes drive from The Strip. An amazing array of old buildings, barns and props like antique cars, rusted out buses, gas pumps and even a crashed plane (as seen in the movie 3000 Miles to Graceland) serve as amazing photo opportunities and a built-in vintage theme. It truly takes you back to the early days of the old West. If you host a wedding here, be prepared to supply many of your own services, including an officiant, catering and furniture. Some companies run mobile wedding ceremonies there. This is a wedding site best for elopements or small weddings with simple receptions, and for those with a sense of adventure.

Bonnie Springs Ranch
If you are seeking the authentic feel of the Old West at your wedding, Bonnie Springs Ranch might be the right choice for you. Events have the opportunity to take over the entire replica 1880s western town, with cowboy actors and roaming musical entertainment, mechanical bulls and horse rides to complete the theme. A small wooden western chapel is available for ceremonies. There is an on-site hotel with rates from $85 a night, perfect as the venue is a little outside of Las Vegas.
The saloon hall, located inside of our old western town has three banquet rooms, Red Room with a stage, dancefloor and room for 200 guests, Gold Room (200 guests) and the Bristlecone Room for 90 guests, all three rooms combining together for larger events. A courtyard and BBQ pit adjacent to the saloon is available for outdoor events. There are also horseback weddings. Catering is done in house and feature BBQ style meals.
Lake Club Las Vegas
The Lake Club at SouthShore captures the beauty of an Italian seaside villa on the waterfront of Lake Las Vegas. Beachfront and poolside wedding ceremonies in addition to event lawns are possible. Elegant indoor ballroom banquets are perfect for receptions. The amenities and options are very similar to sister property, SouthShore Golf Club. Reception pricing includes venue rental fee, tray passed hors d’oeuvres, a plated or buffet dinner and open bar. Other options include the bride arriving via gondola and day after brunch packages.
The Springs Preserve is a 180 acre area about 20 minutes off the Strip that is LEED Platinum certified, and is the “birthplace of Vegas” since it’s the place where the springs that fed the parched desert area water was found. It’s a mix of museum, nature preserve and wetlands, as well as beautiful architecture and botanical gardens. Several outdoor locations are the highlight here for wedding ceremonies including the Inner Rotunda and Desert Fountains for the most intimate of weddings, the lush Arboretum or the grand Courtyard Plaza. The modern Origen and massive Springs Ampitheatre will host up to 500 guests. There are a variety of indoor and outdoor spaces for receptions and cocktail hours.
Catering is exclusively by Culinary Arts Catering, who also handle linens, chair and lighting upgrades. Buffets $45-65, Plated $16-44.

Cactus Joe’s Chapel
You wouldn’t think a gardening center and outdoor furniture shop would be a quaint spot for a wedding, but you’d be wrong. Cactus Joe’s is a local nursery just outside of Las Vegas on Blue Diamond Road, with a wide array of gardening supplies from cacti and plants to rock and minerals, sun dials and everything in between. There are animals running around the rustic property, and it’s a rustic, eclectic spot. The chapel is teeny tiny and very intimate. It is made of wood and looks like a chapel might have in the Old West. They do host receptions on the property.
