MEET Las Vegas
Meet MEET Las Vegas, an extremely flexible and very modern event space downtown – you may have seen the beautifully colored building changing colors a few blocks off of Fremont Street. Offering two floors of venue space and an outdoor pavilion, this is a “black box” style wedding venue, with complete versatility for decor and advanced built-in technology and features. Sleek concrete floors and an unimaginable selection of customization from the latest in audio, lighting, draping and aisle and seating arrangements make this space the perfect base to begin planning your dream event.
Five different venues are available, including the open air pavilion for both ceremonies and receptions. The pavilion can be tented and is an excellent location for exterior live music during your event. The second floor also provides an intimate, customizable space for ceremonies and receptions. Private quarters are available for getting ready or for the couple to steal a private moment for themselves during the event.
Reception Options: Catering can be done in-house in the fully equipped kitchen, but outside vendors are also welcomed. (Indeed, outside vendors are welcomed for most standard wedding decor, design and entertainment needs.)
The Smith Center
The Smith Center is one of Las Vegas’s most unique venue choices, and is actually a world class theatre and performing arts site that just happens to host weddings from time to time. The venue hosts a number of features including packages with rentals included, well-appointed halls with incredible architectural details in limestone, bronze and wood. Indoor and outdoor spaces are available, and as one might expect for a theatre venue, grand stages and awesome acoustics. The art-deco style architecture, inspired by the design of the nearby Hoover Dam, was designed to evoke a sense of the 1920s & 1930s.
Each venue is incredibly unique and range from the intimate to the grand, including a jazz club complete with a second balcony level, a grand lobby with marble flooring and steel accents as well as two outdoor locations. These extremely versatile rooms hold anywhere from 7-500 seated guests for ceremonies and receptions. Some rooms have windows or balconies with views looking at downtown Las Vegas or Symphony Park, others have elaborate staging and lighting set ups to make your grand wedding a very memorable affair. It is important to note that the Smith Center requires you use a planner for your event, and that most spaces are available for both ceremonies and receptions.
Venue fees for exclusive use of the Reynolds Hall, Grand Lobby, Mezzanine and Upper Lobby: $6,500. The Courtyard, Symphony Park and Troesh Studio Theater: $4,500. This cost includes: Space rental for 10 hours for event set up, chameleon chairs, tables, parking, house lighting and more.
Reception Options: The Smith Center works with three preferred catering vendors: Wolfgang Puck Private Dining & Catering, Four Seasons Las Vegas and Culinary Arts Catering.
