Sometimes the reason for a wedding photo do-over are very sensitive indeed. Katie and Danny are the sweet couple in this styled wedding shoot. They were married in 2012 during which time Katie was pregnant. Unfortunately, the couple lost their baby soon after the wedding, so it’s a little hard to look back on the photos of their marriage. Rachel got really wrapped up in the concept behind the styled shoot for the couple which emulated the vintage glamour of the 1920s. The couple looked amazing in period style outfits; Katie got a flapper style makeover, complete with finger and Marcel waves.

Light, airy, modern – that is what I think when I look at this wedding, which comes via j. anne photography. (The J stands for Jodi!) The wedding ceremony took place at Caesars Palace, and due to their shooting rules, Jodi wasn’t allowed to document that part of the wedding day, but her other photos are fabulous. There are crisp editorial style portraits straight out of a magazine and beautiful detail photos of the styling at the post-wedding banquet at Maggianno’s.
A wonderful reason to have your banquet near to your wedding ceremony (but not too near) is very simple: you can walk to it. And photos like the ones below are great as you and your wedding day crew walk down the Las Vegas Strip, soaking in the attention and paparazzi-like photo taking that will inevitably go on.
I love the pleating on the bridesmaids dresses!
So there you have it, a modern, not garish, Las Vegas gambling themed wedding cake, fun scratch card wedding favors and a very stylish wedding party. If you can’t get enough of this perfectly polished restaurant reception, head over to j. anne photography’s blog to see more!
