Vibrant, Elegant and Sophisticated Three Day Wedding, Part Two {Four Seasons}

four-seasons-vegas-wedding004

Are you ready for part two of Anita and Vishal’s incredible Four Seasons Las Vegas wedding photographed by Lin & Jirsa Photography? Yesterday featured the first two days of ceremony and festivities, culminating in a Moroccan inspired dance party and poolside affair. Feast your eyes now if you missed it!

Today the marriage ceremony and an elegant white and purple plated dinner reception are highlighted, again conceptualized and put into reality by the team at Shawna Yamamoto Event Design and wedding coordinator Ajita Chopra Events.

A joyous entrance with drums and dancing preceded Anita and Vishal’s arrival at their marriage ceremony. The ceremony decor featured a 12 foot high elevated red and gold aisle treatment with rich flowing drapery and flickering candles. The romantic ambiance was completed with overflowing red flowers just about anywhere you looked, from the petals delicately spread on the aisle, the curtain tiebacks and finally to the pomanders and swags hanging above. Anita and Vishal both looked stunning in their finery, draped with jai malas or floral garlands. Bangles, a red veil, red and gold heels, dazzling jewels and tikka completed Anita’s look.

The elegant ballroom reception that followed and closed out the three days of festivities featured a mix of round and long tables, dramatic lighting, fine linens, a glittering gold monogram, and architectural arrangements of calla lilies, white roses and sprays of other cream colored flowers. There was even a red carpet for guests to arrive upon!

Be sure to view the same day edit that cinematographers Avec Lumiere provided to see more of the wedding ceremonies, events and action. You can find the video at the bottom of the post. It’s a must see if you enjoyed the still photographs!

Vegas Wedding Full of Pure Romance {Riviera}

riveria wedding las vegas

Today’s wedding, Erin & Humboldt’s, was photographed by KMH Photography. The couple came from California to be wed infront of their friends and family from all over the country at the top of the Riviera. The February wedding, shortly after Valentine’s Day, was full of red roses and romantic red details. Scheme Events oversaw the planning and day of coordination of the 210 guest wedding.

Taking advantage of the fantastic views, the sunset ceremony took place at the Top of the Riv and was held after Eren and Humboldt had their first look and did a few portraits around the property, taking advantage of the classic neon and the lovely gardens there. I love the emotion in both of their faces. First looks are so romantic! Eren chose a Spanish look for her gown with a flamenco hem and cathedral veil. Her bouquet of pink and blush roses with lilies was in memory of Humboldt’s mom, named Lilly. So sweet! Humboldt wore a traditional translucent Filipino barong.

When asking Eren about her favorite memories of the day, she said she had two: When her dad saw her in her wedding dress in the bridal room. She writes, “My sister was helping me with my final touches and placing my veil on my head, when my dad walked in and saw me and my sister. We all looked at each other started to cry (happy tears) and were in a group hug.”

And the second was when her dad was walking her down the aisle and while all the guests were standing/taking pictures, Eren was looking at her husband to be. She had chosen a special surprise song for her processional: Amy Winehouse’s “To Know Him is to Love Him”. Even though they did a first look, she said it felt like it was her first time seeing him that day when that happened. GOOSEBUMPS!

After the ceremony the guests enjoyed Mexican and Filipino dishes including lechón – a whole roasted pig – and danced and partied all night at the Top of the Riv ballroom with some great music courtesy Mariachi Nuevo de Las Vegas band and Knight Sounds DJs. Eren said that they wanted a mix of Latin as well as English music, plus a Spanish-English speaking DJ for announcements and they delivered. Red and gold tones dominated the fantastic party space – great for Eren and Humboldt who are serious San Francisco 49ers fans. Congratulations, Eren and Humboldt!

An “I Do” with Tattoos {Downtown Las Vegas}

jamiey-urban-tattoo-wedding007

Casey and Justin were married at Mon Bel Ami Chapel in downtown Vegas and then did a shoot with Jamie Y Photography – even though Casey, the bride, was coming down with strep throat! She powered through, and you can barely tell behind that huge smile.

I cannot get enough of the gritty, urban background of the photos and the rockabilly flare that Casey has going on in her look. The location strikes me as such a perfect spot for post wedding photos for this family!

With just 13 guests including their daughter, this intimate wedding was packed full of meaning – and color. Eye popping graffiti as a backdrop, brilliantly beautiful red hair and lips plus those stunning tattoos captured by Jamie make these photos sing. Casey’s dress shows off her chest piece so perfectly. What a beautiful wedding day shoot. Congratulations!

Purple and Red Masquerade Wedding {Canyon Gate Country Club}

easton studios las vegas canyon gate wedding

Richard and Michel were wed at an evening wedding ceremony at the vibrant Canyon Gate Country Club, photographed by Nancy Easton at Easton Studios. (Love her ring shots!) Using deep red and purple colors, the wedding featured a romantic French masquerade theme with masks and fleur de lis details all coordinated by Distinctive Celebrations.

A special wedding guest led the bride and groom down the aisle – and what a beautiful canine guest he was! Michel and Richard were then wed under a red canopy on the balcony alongside the lake at Canyon Gate, and then the party got started as the new husband and wife made their entrance into the ballroom wearing their masks. Guests enjoyed a rose and rhinestone decorated cake from Cravin’ Cakes Bakery and music from a DJ from Knight Sounds.

Later in the evening, the couple then made their romantic getaway through a tunnel of handheld sparklers and into an incredible classic car. Is it a Ford? I kind of looks like it might be!

Congratulations, Richard and Michel!

Quirky, Retro and a Little Bit Punk Rock {Chapel of the Flowers}

retro-chapel-vegas009

One thing I learned from today’s wedding? Las Vegas chapel weddings need not be cookie cutter! They can be completely original and feature fabulous photography.

Travis and Ashley looked absolutely stunning for their destination wedding at Chapel of the Flowers. The couple went for the whole meal deal, getting everything through the Chapel – their wedding ceremony, limousine transportation, photographer, floral and more.

I love the props the couple included in their photos, which started during the ceremony at the Chapel of the Flowers but extended along the length of the Strip, with stops downtown, at the Wynn Resort, and Welcome to Las Vegas Sign.

Their photographers, Every Detail (Chapel of the Flowers on-site photography partner) were there for the various photo sessions, including the one of them jumping on the bed and the bridal portraits of Ashley in Little Chapel’s famous red chair – doesn’t she look amazing? Her beauty on the day was completely done by … her! So stunning, and so fun. Love her choice of a black feather, red and white rose bouquet as well. Congratulations!
