The city of Las Vegas is the natural complement to a swank nightclub wedding. LVW has featured a few through the years, but none as high-energy as Jimmy and Alice’s wedding today! Wedding planner Andrea Eppolito submitted their luxe wedding at Chateau Nightclub, and tells the story of the day so well. Feast your eyes on the gorgeous photos from Adam Frazier of this wedding held at the base of the romantic Eiffel Tower, which not only married a couple, but all the best elements of a Vegas wedding: incredible views, lots of dancing and vibrant similes. On an amazing side note, Andrea continued to work through the wedding despite sustaining a broken toe during as the day got started following a statue-related accident. Now that’s dedication…
More from Andrea Eppolito, the planner of this pretty purple party-tastic wedding:
Meet my bride Alice, a chef who owns a restaurant in Southern California, and my groom, Jimmy, who works in the tech industry. When Jimmy met Alice through mutual friends as an undergrad, he was immediately smitten with his bright eyes, big smile, and her vivacious, insatiable appetite for life. Alice was drawn in by Jimmy’s “swag” but wanted to make sure that the big man on campus was serious before she fell head over years. Ten years later, Alice & Jimmy finally decided to make it official with a Las Vegas wedding that was as bold and high energy as the two of them are.
With a strong color palette and the desire for a high energy, sexy wedding, Alice and Jimmy booked Chateau Nightclub & Gardens in Las Vegas, as the venue offers the best of the city – beautiful spaces, gorgeous views, top notch food and wine, and entry into one of the city’s hottest nightclubs for the post party!
After downtown bridal portraits, they returned to Paris, where they held a personalized ceremony in the interior of the club, sparing guests from the 105 degree heat! A friend officiated the ceremony, pulling together the sweet and tender moments from their last 10 years together.
For the reception, guests headed up to the rooftop patio, which was dressed in white drapes, purple linen, and teal accents. They feasted on butler passed hors d’oeuvres and enjoyed action stations, an open bar, dancing, and both a photo booth and a flip book station. After a toast by Alice’s father, her brother serenaded the couple with a beautiful performance of “Just the Way You Are” by Billy Joel.
As a surprise for the newly married couple, and to start the party properly, we showered them with confetti as they took over the dance floor, celebrating with their family and friends all night long!

Stacey and Brandon’s fresh Springs Preserve wedding was accented with turquoise, silver and purple colors. I’m in love with their wedding monogram, which provided a modern graphic element to the garden wedding and reception.
Cowboy boots for the ladies, a Disney gown and wedding cake topper, this wedding had touches of the bride and groom’s personality all over it! I think the best moment had to have been the first look with Stacey’s dad, though. What a beautiful moment.
WHY THE SPRINGS PRESERVE?
We chose Vegas because it’s our home and we have friends and family here. We specially chose Springs Preserve because of its beauty and the fact that it feels different than anything in Vegas.
THE CEREMONY — GARDENS ARBORETUM AT SPRINGS PRESERVE
Our wedding was a casual sunset ceremony, surrounded by friends and family with just a little rain for good luck!
THE RECEPTION — GARDEN TERRACE AT SPRINGS PRESERVE
A fun filled evening with dancing, drinking and laughing surrounded by the people that mean the most to us. Food served by the infamous Mon Ami Gabi with a menu created by the bride and groom. Plenty of games both traditional and non, with plenty of tears and laughter to go around.
DIY DETAILS + DECOR
Much of our wedding was DIY! The card box was handmade, the frame that hung at the altar for pictures was handwritten, the tulle over the altar was all done by hand, the sunglasses sign for the favors as well as the coloring books and crayons were all put together by the bride.
FAVORITE WEDDING DAY MEMORY
The most stand out moment had to have been the cake cutting! As tradition goes we both wore plenty of cake on our faces with the groom getting an extra handful from the bride. We had a blast being able to walk through all the people who loved us the most before we ended up cutting our cake.
LAS VEGAS WEDDING TIPS FROM STACEY + BRANDON
Everyone told me that the night would go by faster than we could imagine but we didn’t believe them, take in every moment because before I knew it, it was 10:30! Also, make friends and ask people around you. I found all of my vendors through friends and family, I didn’t need to use the internet, everyone was more than willing to refer me, use that to your advantage. This town is full of connections, just have to know where to look!
STACEY + BRANDON’S WEDDING GUESTCOUNT + BUDGET
We had about 100 guests and our budget was $12,000.

Anna and Jordan are from Up North. And yes, I mean Canada, but I do mean even FURTHER up north: the Yukon! Even for Canadians like me that’s “Up North.”
Escaping from the deepest, darkest parts of winter, they landed in Las Vegas for their intimate wedding at Eldorado Canyon. Their elopement was very rustic, surrounded by desert landscaping and the vintage charm of the ghost town there. Touches of soft gray and purple pulled it all together along with some lovely light captured by Gaby J Photography. Pretty far removed from the snowy tundra, eh?
I cannot believe Anna and Jordan pulled off this wedding without visiting the Las Vegas before. I do hope they are able to return and celebrate their anniversary with their daughter in the future!
Why Anna + Jordan Chose Las Vegas
We are actually from Whitehorse, Yukon, so it was an easy decision to elope somewhere warmer. When we flew home from our honeymoon, it was 93 degrees F and when we arrived home in Whitehorse it was -30 degrees F, yes minus 30! (all in the same day = a bit of a system shock.)
We also have a two-year-old daughter, so we wanted to elope somewhere that would allow for a quick and cost efficient ceremony, while allowing us to get back home to our daughter without having spent a lot of money but not missing out on our dream wedding day.
Why Eldorado Canyon?
I came across Eldorado Canyon while doing online research and we loved the variety of the location mixed with the shabby chic theme. I then continued the theme throughout the rest of our day. I used my step-mothers wedding dress that she married my dad just months before and incorporated a birdcage veil and burlap headpiece to bring a more vintage feel to my attire.
We wanted a simple ceremony to capture our commitment, and that was more than met with Angie Kelly of Peachy Keen Unions. Angie created the most beautiful ceremony for us, we could not have asked for anyone better.
Upon arrival at Eldorado Canyon, we were asked where we wanted to perform the ceremony, of course not having been there we didn’t know what to expect, but Angie suggested the attic of the old barn on the property and there was no hesitation from us. Our photographer, Gaby, was our witness, so it was just the few of us in the attic of the barn and it felt as if time stood still while we committed ourselves to each other.
(Their reception was an intimate dinner for two in a restaurant overlooking the Bellagio fountains)
Just days before our wedding it occurred to me that I would not have anyone with me to help tie the back of my corset-style wedding dress. I emailed Gaby in tears, not knowing what to do. Gaby simply asked for me to send a photo of the back of the dress so she could learn how to tie it for me and would do so on my wedding day. I felt so so relieved as we already had cancelled and delayed flights and hotels days prior so this moment was my breaking point. She made me feel so much better knowing that I had that support.
Anna + Jordan’s #1 Tip for Other Couples Eloping to Vegas
One tip would be that I wish that had not been my first time in Las Vegas. I wanted to enjoy our time the few days leading up to our wedding, but we spent most of our time trying to find my husband’s attire and last minute things and not knowing Las Vegas we managed to waste too much time trying to find our way around. We will have to come back when there is nothing to be planned so we can enjoy the city and relax.
I also think it is important to create a bond with the people that will be involved in your wedding day, even if it is an elopement. I had a certain feeling when I talked to Gaby and I knew that we just clicked. Same as Angie right down to the ladies that did my hair and make-up. It is important to be on the same page and feel that they can accept the ideas that you have for your day and want to bring it to life with you.

LVW readers! Today I have a very special guest post for you from one of the founders of My Hotel Wedding, a fabulous site that is dedicated to amazing weddings in hotels!
Brooke is sharing her Las Vegas wedding which, naturally, happened in one of the loveliest Strip hotels. Read on for all the details from a hotel wedding pro, and to see the gorgeous images of the day by Micah and Megan Photography. (I can’t get over that midnight donut bar…)
Greetings Little Vegas Wedding readers! I’m Brooke, co-founder of My Hotel Wedding. My sister (previously a Catering Manager at the Beverly Wilshire, A Four Seasons Hotel) and I started My Hotel Wedding to be your one-stop site for seamless hotel wedding planning. We realized that with our combined knowledge and experience we had lots to share with couples planning hotel weddings. I am honored to share my Vegas wedding experience with you.
My husband and I met in film school and we both work in Los Angeles in the entertainment industry. When it came down to choosing a location for our wedding, we didn’t want LA, but also didn’t want to go too far from home. We had family and friends flying in from all over the country, so we wanted a location with easy access from the airport…VEGAS!!!
First we had to choose our Vegas venue. Our top three contenders were the Four Seasons Hotel Las Vegas (since my sister worked for the company :) ), the Bellagio (because it’s stunning) and the Mandalay Bay (a personal fave). We chose the Four Seasons because of their ability to provide a truly customized wedding experience. Although the rooms and chapels were lovely elsewhere, they only offered wedding packages, which were unable to be customized to our taste when it came to food and beverage options.
Once we chose the Four Seasons everything else easily fell into place. Dennis Silknitter, our Catering Manager, made everything a breeze from the planning to the wedding day itself. One of our favorite planning memories was the tasting; we tried what felt like half their menu! Everything was divine! The final choices were hard to make, but we came up with our perfect wedding menu. Although we tried and tried to say no, we ended up saying yes to a midnight handmade donut station, which was a complete hit!
For our florist we chose Naakiti Floral Design who came highly recommended by the Four Seasons. Randi, the owner/founder, was amazing to work with. She greeted us at her studio off the Strip where we browsed thousands of images. She worked with our budget and even helped us find the perfect wood chairs to match our hot pink and purple theme.
By the time our wedding day came, I was so excited that I woke up at 6am ready to go! Our wedding day flew by, but was full of wonderful memories; from my grandma’s face seeing me in my wedding dress to the first look with my hubby Gordon. By the way, we recommend having the first look before the ceremony as it gets all the jitters out.
Another favorite moment that we’ve written about in our hotel hints, is taking a moment for just the two of us after the ceremony. We went back up to our suite and were able to have some time alone to freshen up, enjoy each other’s company as husband and wife and munch on delicious hors d’oeuvres sent up from the hotel.
All in all our wedding day was perfect. Every detail was meticulously handled by my sister and Dennis so that we could just enjoy. To see more photos from our wedding and all the vendors we used, visit our full blog post.
We hope you enjoyed hearing about our Vegas wedding experience. If you have questions, please feel free to reach out via email to brooke AT myhotelwedding DOT com or visit My Hotel Wedding for tips, tools and total inspiration for your hotel wedding!
