It seems like there has been a Springs Preserve wedding every week on Little Vegas Wedding lately, and I’m loving it! They all have their unique charm and style, and of course: unique couples. Today’s Preserve couple, Ruth and David, planned their destination wedding from Canada, and had Gaby J Photography there for the befores, durings and afters of their little Vegas wedding. ;)

Sasha and Patrick were married in a beautiful ceremony at St Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Henderson that was photographed by Myron Hensel Photography.
The pops of mint green worn by the wedding party went well with the bride and groom’s all white outfits. Isn’t the background of the church gorgeous?

This wedding is so meticulously styled I thought it was just that – a styled photo shoot. However, not only was this wedding beautifully done – it was almost all DIY!
Jen Ramos (the designer and blogger behind MadeByGirl – you really need to check out her work!) was behind the decisions made. Everything – from the menus to tablescapes, cakes to flowers – was conceived, executed and made by the bride, groom or someone they knew. This made an incredibly personal wedding day assembled by loved ones that was also budget friendly. By keeping the projects made by hand when possible and the guest list small (30 guests attended) the couple were able to focus on details that really mattered, and enjoying the wedding day!
Keeping with white and crisp apple green, the entire wedding has an exceedingly modern, clean look. The contrasting textures of the wheatgrass and manzanita and varied heights make for a gorgeous tablescape, don’t they?
Anyhow enough chatter – check out Mat and Jen’s winter Canyon Gate Country Club wedding, below, photographed by Yvonne Wong.
The wheatgrass was from Whole Foods, the roses from an online flower source, along with the manzanita branch centrepieces. All of it was put together by the groom, who used to work in a floral shop. Amazing!
The menus were customized from a template, and the little leaf place markers were again done by the groom and his friend.
A custom latte template? Yup, they got that covered.
My favorite was the dessert table – it was so stunning and full of little surprises and treats.
The LOVE plates (bought online) were filled with chocolate dipped strawberries!
The cake(s) were done by the groom’s mother were coconut and fondant, with the mini ones being vanilla-chocolate swirl.
What a gorgeous day full of personal touches and details! Thank and congratulations, Mat and Jen!

This beautiful family wedding at Las Vegas’ Siena Golf Course was shot by the ever lovely Ella Gagiano. She writes: “The ceremony was simply stunning with Spring Mountains setting the backdrop and the spring day permitting a perfectly serene environment for their love to be strikingly celebrated. Their reception carried on a very classic and natural feel. I loved the fresh green and white color palette coupled with the black and white polka dots they chose as decoration.”
I personally love the bride Jamie’s dress – it’s so architectural! And her smile in every shot is so beautiful.

I’m not sure what the protocol is on this, but when this wedding was shot, it was at the Loews Lake Las Vegas, which is now the Westin Lake Las Vegas. Okay. Just so we’re clear. :-)
The scenery at this venue is gorgeous – it’s got a Moroccan vibe with orange and burnt sienna hues mixed with the deep blues of the lake. I have a few weddings queued up to feature on LVW of this venue and I’m excited about each one!
Today’s event was shot by Kristen Hansen at KMH Photography though, and it’s gorgeous. I love the sweeping vista where the bride and groom (Allison and Chris) share a kiss as if they were the only people in the world. Goosebumps!
Sure, I love brides with tattoos, but now I have a new love – brides with their pets! I love that Allison’s little dog was around for her getting ready.
Aren’t the shots of the details beautiful? I am pretty much obligated to highlight photos weddings with succulents, but the overall mossy greens and woodsy feel are so cozy. Also loving the Polaroid guestbook! A girl after my own heart…
