I am always excited to feature a Las Vegas church wedding ceremony on the blog, especially since Vegas has such gorgeous churches. Jamie Y shot this wedding and I love the photos highlighting the inside of the Guardian Angel Catholic Cathedral, just off the Strip. It’s glossy and light filled … and love filled.
The bride and groom were actually from Ohio, and this was a destination wedding! I love her make up and the amazing handmade brooch “bouquet” the bride’s mom made for her.
We had some time before their reception started at the amazing Eiffel Tower restaurant so we took the bridal party and headed downtown to the Arts District for some fun non-traditional settings for their portraits.
The girls were all able to pick out their own dresses in shades of pink and they looked beautiful together. The grooms men all had tan tuxedos with pink ties. The color combinations were perfect and went well with the warm summer weather. Jackie bought all of her bridesmaids necklaces which they wore as well as their hand made bouquets. The lunch reception at Eiffel Tower restaurant had a gorgeous view of the strip and the fountains at the Bellagio.
As always, there are more details and gorgeous portraits over on Jamie Y’s blog.

I am so in love with this wedding inspiration shoot! The idea, styling and photos come from MegRuth. Featuring feathers, ombre and succulents, this is a very on trend wedding concept, I think. And it even uses a super trendy, up-and-coming area of Vegas as the location – the Arts District, downtown.
This is the gorgeous invitation suite created by SHE Paperie.
THOSE LASHES! Lengthened and emphasized by Ciao Bella Studio and Your Beauty Call, respectively.
I love the idea of the wedding blanket ceremony being woven into the ceremony. It’s a lovely tradition, it makes for amazing photos and is an instant heirloom.
I am obsessed with ombre and dip dying to begin with, so I went nuts when I saw this cake. It’s a desert sunset cake by Gimme Some Sugar.
You can see more photos of this shoot on Meg’s blog, and also in the fabulous Style Me Pretty feature here! She even shared some how-tos for lots of the DIY elements that were in this shoot.

As someone who looks at a lot of weddings every day, the ones that reach out to me are the ones with smiling faces, real emotion and heartfelt details. (Okay, and I admit it…great shoes, too.) I think that is why I love this wedding that comes from MegRuth. It’s so crafty and original, you can’t help but smile when you look at the photos.
The bride and groom of today’s wedding are graphic designers, and you can see their original touches all across the wedding, from their personally designed letterpress invitations to the handmade-by-a-friend wedding gown. Also – there are pies at this wedding. PIES! I’m sold.
More of this handcrafted wedding can be seen over at Meg’s blog.

Yeah, you like what I did there with that blog post title? I got more puns where that comes from, baby!
… but I’ll try to keep it in check. Besides, I can probably only use that one once for the entire lifetime of this blog. But, this is a good wedding to use it on. It’s got a spring etherealness, a real classiness and features a beautiful couple, Leticia and German. The Emerics did a wonderful job capturing this affair at the Wynn, with the reception at Wellington Place afterwards. Let’s have a peek!
I love manzanita branches! They remind me of sea fan coral with their delicateness.
For more photos of this springtime Wynn wedding, please visit The Emerics’ blog. It’s so awesome it was posted about in two different entries! [Part 1] [Part 2]
