One of my favorite wedding venues to feature on the blog is Cosmopolitan. It’s fresh, modern and perfect for a stylish elopement! I used my love for the hotel as inspiration for this week’s Vegas Vision wedding board. Because what’s more modern than sneaking off to Vegas for your elopement in a stunning architectural gown and post-wedding cocktails for two, instead of cake?
“Vegas Vision” inspiration boards are inspired by the different resorts, casinos and locations around Vegas. They’re not really based in reality, but that’s the fun!
If you would like to make your own, the theme is Modern Elopements. If you want to share, you can create it on Pinterest and tag the board #VegasVision or tag me @lilvegaswed. You can also email me the board: kelly AT littlevegaswedding DOT com

I’ve been going a little elopement crazy over here at LVW, as I’ve been getting so many elopement submissions. But can you blame me? Couples like Stacey and Cy today who eloped in Las Vegas at THEhotel are so likeable I want to post ALL THE ELOPEMENTS.
This Canadian couple decided to do it Vegas-style after being together a quarter century. Yes – you read correctly. They’ve been together for 25 years. I think you’ll agree they barely look that old themselves.
McKenzi of Taylored Photo Memories documented the memories of this special Vegas elopement and shared this chic little in-suite ceremony with me. You might recognize a face at the party too – that’s Angie Kelly of Peachy Keen Unions presiding. Family members unable to make the trip joined in via FaceTime and the internet. Following the ceremony there were cupcakes and candles and Canadian Club. All the good C’s to make a great wedding go down!
The wedding ceremony was modern, fun and intimate. One of the things I like best about elopements is that you really focus on the couple and you get to see the emotion in every photo. Check these photos by Taylored Photo Memories out!

Wedding Photo Gallery:
The flutter of a peacock feather, a trip to In-N-Out, beautiful post-LDS ceremony portraits and handcrafted, arty details are the highlights of this wedding – oh, and a totally adorable and jubilant couple. The photos from Rachel at Brilliant Imagery are just that – brilliant.
The couple, Spencer and Stephanie, are Vegas locals who were married at the Las Vegas LDS Temple one beautiful winter morning. Stephanie rocked a very sculpted modest gown accented with amethyst purple shoes and a coordinating bouquet. Rachel took the couple to the Smith Center for some more portraits following their private ceremony inside the temple. The rainbow sculpture/installation by Las Vegas artist Tim Bavington is a beautiful spot for bridal portraits, isn’t it?
Of course, you get hungry when you’re getting married (depending on your anxiety level!) so where else to go but get it on animal style at In-N-Out? The kind staff made sure the bride and groom got a complimentary meal during their pit stop and a caricature artist eating at the fast food restaurant even provided a little sketch documenting the day. The whole wedding was full of little momentos like that, though – instant photos, chalkboard drawings, little books that kept the kids busy at the reception, a photo booth – all documenting a day full of love and memories.
Instant photos! YESSSS

Etambuyu & Noah got engaged after meeting at college in Idaho. Because the groom-to-be is from Las Vegas, the couple hooked up with with Rachel from Brilliant Imagery for some engagement photos around the water wall feature at ARIA and then headed downtown for some more sweet engagement photos. Their plan is to have a wedding in California followed by a honeymoon in Africa. So exotic!

8. Keep Memory Alive Center at the Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health
Interior of Keep Memory Alive Center Credit: Little Vegas Wedding
Designed by architect Frank Gehry, the Cleveland Clinic Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health is a testament to the architect’s design sense and will wow any fan of modern architecture you know, both inside and out.
Part research center for degenerative brain diseases and part event venue, the Keep Memory Alive Event Center portion of the building can be rented for weddings and other special occasions with the proceeds going to fund the center’s research. For 4 hours the facility rental rates are $5,000 for events Mondays through Thursdays and $7,500 on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Additional time is $500 an hour. This includes use of the in-house furniture which is a fabulous array of Frank Gehry designed sofas, Pedrali chairs, tables and bars – but that’s just the start, and an entire decor list can be provided upon request.
Furnishings are as modern as the exterior and a breezeway courtyard allows the space to “breathe.” The building itself facilitates extremely unique photos taken inside and outside of the space, and the location provides easy access to the nearby downtown district and Neon Museum. And it’s nice to know that the fees go to a good cause. Head here for more information and photos of the event space at Lou Ruvo Center.
On Strip: No | Banquet and Cocktail receptions: Yes, both | Wedding Ceremonies: Yes | Accommodates: up to 700 standing, 400 banquet style with indoor and outdoor spaces | On Site Catering: Yes, KMA Center works with three companies for on-site catering.
