Party on the rooftop and dance the night away at your reception with a clear view of the lights and action of the one and only Las Vegas Strip: let’s talk rooftop weddings in Las Vegas!
When I first started to compose this post, I truly believed there were just a handful of venues that would allow you to host a Vegas wedding with a birds eye view of the city. Truth of the matter is, there are dozens of them, suitable for every size and budget, and scattered across the city with a variety of views.
These venues allow for indoor and outdoor rooftop, patio and sometimes even poolside weddings and receptions.
Of course, if you are afraid of heights a wedding in the sky may not be the best choice, but sweeping views of the lights of the Strip and a complete feeling of being on top of the world combines for an absolutely unforgettable experience for your wedding. And maybe you can conquer those fears…
Unless otherwise specified, most of these venues offer combined indoor and open air, outdoor spaces, and are available for ceremonies or receptions – or both!

It can be argued that numbers mean more in Las Vegas – I mean, the town was basically built on them. And, of course, weddings are no exception.
Now that the lucky magic of 7/7/2007 and 8/8/8 are long gone and the binary dates 10/10/10 and 11/11/11 are too, 11/12/13 has stepped up to the plate as this year’s memorable (some say lucky) sequential date. Well, it’s at least a unique wedding date; I can make no guarantees on the luck side of things!
I’ve never been much of a numerology person, but the date is quirky and fun, and would certainly be an easy anniversary to remember (one hopes!) On top of that, it’s a Tuesday which means you might still have a chance at booking a last minute wedding at one of the venues below, or with one of the fantastic officiants listed. They’re all offering packages tailored for your 11/12/13 wedding date. No word on if the 14:15 time slots are taken yet, to fully complete that number theme.
And keep in mind if you’re not quite ready this year, there’s always 12/13/14. THAT one falls on a Saturday…
A Peachy Keen Wedding Date
Officiant Angie Kelly of Peachy Keen Unions has four openings available and is offering a 12% percent discount for bookings made for November 12. Angie is known for her intimate, personal weddings in the city, and she is able to travel to and officiate at ceremonies all over the Las Vegas area.
Luv Bug Wedding
Las Vegas Luv Bug Weddings are throwing in some free upgrades for weddings booked on 11/12/13. The package comes with all the regular trimmings: a minster, witness, photographer and all paperwork taken care of, but with upgraded florals and photography. Two locations are available: Caesar’s Gardens (7:30AM-3:00PM) or Bellagio Terrace (7:30PM-10:30PM)
Get Married to the Mob
Just five couples will be wed at the Mob Museum on 11/12/13, so better start booking, if the spots aren’t already taken! The vows are said in their historic courtroom or on the front steps of the majestic building. The package, priced at $1,112.13 (hmm…) includes the wedding, plus cake and champagne for twenty guests.
Light Up the Date
The Neon Museum is holding Magic Day packages on 11/12/13 which are on offer to just four couples to be wed amongst the historic neon and signage of Las Vegas. The package for $650 includes a 30 minute ceremony, photo package and a few souvenirs.
With a choice of the gazebo or chapel, Mon Bel Ami went all out for their “Sensational” package, priced at $699. The options include a rose strewn aisle, floral packages and customized music for your ceremony.
Lucky in Love
The MGM Grand is offering a Numerology package that includes accommodation, hair and makeup, photography and a ceremony with live pianist accompaniment. There are even a monogrammed 11-12-13 robes and a couple’s massage, all for $1,400.
Viva Las Wedding!
Starting at $311.12, the Viva Las Vegas Chapel packages offer three styles of ceremony: the traditional, the Elvis and the themed which covers everything from Bond to vampires and everything in between.
The 11/12/13 Forever ceremony at the Chapel of the Flowers at $795 keeps it simple and provides an intimate ceremony and classic roses in their package. There is an upgraded package available for $2,013.
The Royale Wedding Chapel at Riviera has a special $99 deal. Since we’re talking numbers, that’s one that is sure to make you happy.
And a bonus one, as suggested by a reader of the blog:
Cosmopolitan is offering a package to get wed in their famous Chandelier Bar surrounded by sparkly light. In addition to the vows and minister, also included are three nights in a Terrace Suite, violinist, flowers and photography.
Today’s wedding, Erin & Humboldt’s, was photographed by KMH Photography. The couple came from California to be wed infront of their friends and family from all over the country at the top of the Riviera. The February wedding, shortly after Valentine’s Day, was full of red roses and romantic red details. Scheme Events oversaw the planning and day of coordination of the 210 guest wedding.
Taking advantage of the fantastic views, the sunset ceremony took place at the Top of the Riv and was held after Eren and Humboldt had their first look and did a few portraits around the property, taking advantage of the classic neon and the lovely gardens there. I love the emotion in both of their faces. First looks are so romantic! Eren chose a Spanish look for her gown with a flamenco hem and cathedral veil. Her bouquet of pink and blush roses with lilies was in memory of Humboldt’s mom, named Lilly. So sweet! Humboldt wore a traditional translucent Filipino barong.
When asking Eren about her favorite memories of the day, she said she had two: When her dad saw her in her wedding dress in the bridal room. She writes, “My sister was helping me with my final touches and placing my veil on my head, when my dad walked in and saw me and my sister. We all looked at each other started to cry (happy tears) and were in a group hug.”
And the second was when her dad was walking her down the aisle and while all the guests were standing/taking pictures, Eren was looking at her husband to be. She had chosen a special surprise song for her processional: Amy Winehouse’s “To Know Him is to Love Him”. Even though they did a first look, she said it felt like it was her first time seeing him that day when that happened. GOOSEBUMPS!
After the ceremony the guests enjoyed Mexican and Filipino dishes including lechón – a whole roasted pig – and danced and partied all night at the Top of the Riv ballroom with some great music courtesy Mariachi Nuevo de Las Vegas band and Knight Sounds DJs. Eren said that they wanted a mix of Latin as well as English music, plus a Spanish-English speaking DJ for announcements and they delivered. Red and gold tones dominated the fantastic party space – great for Eren and Humboldt who are serious San Francisco 49ers fans. Congratulations, Eren and Humboldt!
