Best Garden Wedding Venues | LIttle Vegas Wedding

Today’s venue spotlight falls on my five favorite garden wedding venues in Las Vegas. Despite being in a desert, Las Vegas takes gardening seriously, with many gorgeous parks, venues and botanical gardens to enjoy. From traditional gardens to more desert, xeric landscaped ones, check out these options!

Venus Garden Caesars Palace | Little Vegas Wedding Venue Guide

Venus Gardens at Caesars Palace

Caesars Palace has a few options for garden weddings, but Venus Gardens catches my eye because of the perfect combination of classic Roman architecture and privacy. It’s a little bit themed, but in a classy way.

Beautiful additions like a domed temple, stone bench seating, tiled aisle (say that three times fast!) and a koi pond add special little details and make this garden a true gem. If you catch it at the right time of year, the garden is exploding with flowers. This is one of the larger garden options, seating up to 114 people, and Caesars also permits outside photographers.

Frame House at Springs Preserve

With more than 180 acres featuring an amazing array of walking paths and nature trails, Frame House at Springs Preserve is just one of my favorite venues for a wedding. In fact, I’m not sure where to start: there are more than 10 garden/outdoor venue choices at the Springs for weddings! Although I was married at the Gardens Arboretum, these days I’m more partial to Frame House.

This intimate covered space is nestled amongst some of the prettiest floral displays in the garden, and very near to cactus alley. It’s quiet, private and can be very green — yet is protected from the midday sun. Just lovely for wedding ceremonies of up to 45 guests.

Garden Romance at Venetian

Although the canals and faux Venice-style facades of the shopping mall get all the attention, there are some truly lovely European terraced gardens around the pools at Venetian. For smaller elopements and weddings, the Garden Romance package offers a standing room only ceremony for 10 guests set in a side garden of the Venezia Courtyard. This romantic spot has you surrounded by hedges and lush greenery as well as Italian-style sculptures. Of course, the one downside is that like many other Strip hotels, they will not allow you to use an outside photographer.

Garden Gazebo at JW Marriott Las Vegas

With an extraordinary 54 acres of landscaped grounds, gardens and waterscapes to choose from, weddings at JW Marriott are hard NOT to have in a gorgeous garden! The Garden Gazebo combines a beautiful structure as a backdrop for your vows, while still surrounded by the amazing landscaping. Perfect for weddings of 80 to 200 people, this is a great off Strip venue for slightly larger weddings.

Emerald at Queensridge

Another off Strip choice, Emerald at Queensridge is an all-in-one banquet facility that just so happens to have an elegant garden for wedding ceremonies. Get ready on-site in the luxurious facilities before you walk the aisle under huge trees, then head inside to celebrate in the chic (and high-tech!) ballroom setting. The courtyard is beautiful not only for ceremonies but for photos, too, and looks beautiful day or night.

Chihuly Gallery at Aria Las Vegas

Dale Chihuly is the artist responsible for that amazing glass sculpture inside Bellagio (and in a few other Strip hotels). He also has an ultra-modern gallery space at Aria featuring his incredible work in a contemporary setting. The gallery is well-suited for ceremonies as well as long-table style receptions for around 50 guests.

The Boneyard at The Neon Museum

We can’t talk about museums without mentioning an incredible part of Las Vegas history: The Neon Museum! This outdoors walk-through museum is home to hundreds of neon signs from throughout Las Vegas history, providing an industrial-chic setting with a vintage backdrop for your vows. It’s popular for wedding photos, but getting married here (especially at night with the signs turned on) would be perfect for any Vegas, architecture or design fans.

Discovery Children’s Museum

I think museums angled to kids are a fabulous space to get married in. They’re unique, playful and memorable! Las Vegas has the wonderful DISCOVERY Children’s Museum which features several different exhibit halls and stage venues perfect for a one-of-a-kind wedding. Who says getting married has to be an grownup affair, anyways?

Origen Rotunda at Springs Preserve

Set on 180-acres just a few miles off The Strip, Springs Preserve is a museum featuring desert botanical gardens, family events, traveling exhibits, trails and — you guessed it — weddings. There is an amazing array of outdoor spaces and gardens, but the Origen Museum Rotunda is the most gallery-style space. It features a high vaulted ceiling, and a room ringed with kinetic granite sculptures floating on water and sculptured cattails, all etched with the names of museum donors.

Mob Museum Vegas Wedding

The Mob Museum

Not only is The Mob Museum (National Museum of Organized Crime and Law Enforcement) a symbol representing a colorful part of Las Vegas history, it’s a fun place to get married! The architecturally important building (a former US Postal Office and federal courthouse) is a gorgeous reminder of the early days of Vegas and offers some unique venue spaces within, like an accurate replica courtroom.

Down to Earth Springs Preserve Elopement from Taylored Photo Memories

Intimate Springs Preserve Elopement | Little Vegas Wedding

I always feel so fortunate to be able to feature Vegas elopements on the site. These intimate little weddings are a peek into the most private side of a couple’s relationship, and the photos are always so emotional. Today’s feature elopement from Taylored Photo Memories is no exception. Dominique and Anthony chose to marry in the gardens of the Springs Preserve, and looked so happy and relaxed doing so. So simple, so beautiful.

More from their photographer:
Dominique and Anthony are going down as one of my all time favorite couples. They chose a to do a small Springs Preserve wedding rather than a big fussy wedding in their hometown. One of the first comments Dominique made to me was how she did not like being the center of attention, and that they would need help posing. Pictures were very important to her.

Taking their pictures, as it turned out, was very easy. Dominique and Anthony basked in their happiness making the wedding photo shoot easy. They were relaxed and playful, complete naturals. Posing came easy, their love shined through as they held hands, looked into each other’s eyes. They forgot I was there and enjoyed each other and their special day, making my job easy. All I had to do was capture what was already there.

They wanted a beautiful outside setting for their elopement in Las Vegas. We chose the Springs Preserve. It offers many different natural settings that matched the beautiful simplicity of this couple. Dominique was a total DIY bride and got it right! She wore a beautiful custom-made, flowing tulle skirt with a simple feminine white blouse. Dominique’s little sister made the silk sash she wore around her waist and the bride used parts of that to make her own bouquet. A simple ornate headband was the only accessory in her hair. Anthony the groom, a tall handsome man, wore all white to match his bride. He was hip and masculine, with a smile full of love only for his new wife. His eyes lit up every time he looked at her.

Springs Preserve Garden Wedding from JOA Photography

Springs Preserve Wedding from JOA Photography | Little Vegas Wed

Stacey and Brandon’s fresh Springs Preserve wedding was accented with turquoise, silver and purple colors. I’m in love with their wedding monogram, which provided a modern graphic element to the garden wedding and reception.

Cowboy boots for the ladies, a Disney gown and wedding cake topper, this wedding had touches of the bride and groom’s personality all over it! I think the best moment had to have been the first look with Stacey’s dad, though. What a beautiful moment.

WHY THE SPRINGS PRESERVE?
We chose Vegas because it’s our home and we have friends and family here. We specially chose Springs Preserve because of its beauty and the fact that it feels different than anything in Vegas.

THE RECEPTION — GARDEN TERRACE AT SPRINGS PRESERVE
A fun filled evening with dancing, drinking and laughing surrounded by the people that mean the most to us. Food served by the infamous Mon Ami Gabi with a menu created by the bride and groom. Plenty of games both traditional and non, with plenty of tears and laughter to go around.

DIY DETAILS + DECOR
Much of our wedding was DIY! The card box was handmade, the frame that hung at the altar for pictures was handwritten, the tulle over the altar was all done by hand, the sunglasses sign for the favors as well as the coloring books and crayons were all put together by the bride.

FAVORITE WEDDING DAY MEMORY
The most stand out moment had to have been the cake cutting! As tradition goes we both wore plenty of cake on our faces with the groom getting an extra handful from the bride. We had a blast being able to walk through all the people who loved us the most before we ended up cutting our cake.

LAS VEGAS WEDDING TIPS FROM STACEY + BRANDON
Everyone told me that the night would go by faster than we could imagine but we didn’t believe them, take in every moment because before I knew it, it was 10:30! Also, make friends and ask people around you. I found all of my vendors through friends and family, I didn’t need to use the internet, everyone was more than willing to refer me, use that to your advantage. This town is full of connections, just have to know where to look!

Botantical Inspired Wedding at Springs Preserve from gaby j photography

Springs Preserve Wedding from Gaby J Photography | Little Vegas Wedding
It starts with a true love story – Thuy met her French husband Jonathan while in Paris, and they fell head over heels for one another. With family and friends all over the world, the couple chose Las Vegas to bring everyone together at the Springs Preserve for their wedding.

Their wedding mixed a number of different themes and styles, true to this jetsetting couple’s lives: desert garden combined with tropical Vietnam with a touch of European elegance. The ceremony featured floral details: a calla lily lined aisle, and an arbor strung with glass bubbles filled with chrysthanthemums. Thuy and Jonathan also provided a tea ceremony service for their guests.

The desert garden wedding transitioned into Paris in the jungle, with huge philodendron leaves and orchids at each table setting. Seafoam green and grey dominated, with white and silver to complement the palette. A photobooth with tonnes of fun props entertained guests and the bride and groom, and to end the evening, the newlyweds changed into traditional Vietnamese wedding attire!

Why Jonathan and Thuy Married in Las Vegas
We chose Las Vegas because it is a great city that is fun and tourist friendly. My husband is from France so we wanted to pick a place where his friends and family can easily entertain themselves, party to the wee hours of the morning, and for our guests to have a great vacation as well as joining our wedding. Also, Vegas has special meaning to us as it is the first place I took my husband to when he first visited me from France when we started dating. We picked Springs Preserve because it is such a beautiful venue that is not your typical idea of a Vegas wedding. Springs Preserve has a nice mix of modern, elegant, and natural elements that makes this venue truly unique.

Thuy’s Favorite Wedding Day Memory:
There were many stand out moments from our wedding day. We did our first look which I enjoyed very much because it allowed us to spend some alone time before the ceremony and seeing my husband’s reaction to seeing me for the first time was priceless. Another stand out moment was when my husband was trying to comfort me when I was crying during my father’s reading of his poem. It was a very emotional and fun ceremony that will forever be remembered. We also loved that we were able to get the Skyline Terrace Suite at the MGM Grand Hotel for our rehearsal dinner and after party, allowing us to spend more time with our friends and family in a relaxed setting with an amazing view.

The Ceremony — Gardens Arboretum at Springs Preserve
The ceremony was officiated by my sister’s husband who made it very personal and heartfelt. We incorporated the tea ceremony to honor my Vietnamese culture and parents. The purpose of the tea ceremony is for the bride and groom to honor our family elders and receive their blessings. During the ceremony, my father read a Vietnamese poem that he wrote in which it was translated in English and French. My bridesmaid read the English version of the poem and my mother-in-law read the French version. We thought it was a nice way to include our parents and friend into the ceremony.

The Reception — Gardens Terrace at Springs Preserve
There is a gorgeous view of the Vegas strip skyline at this reception site. My mother and her florist friends did an amazing job with the flowers and decorations. Our guests enjoyed a buffet dinner and open bar catered by Divine Events. We then danced the night away to the music provided by Elegant Entertainment.

DIY Details and Wedding Decor:
My mother and sister are very creative and talented people. They pretty much did everything themselves. My mother designed and did the flowers and decorations. The wedding favors/escort cards were made by my mom. My sister made the programs, menu, and designed the logos on the backdrop for the “red carpet” pictures. I made the table numbers incorporating our color theme of sea-foam green and silver.

Thuy and Jonathan’s Tips for Other Couples Marrying in Las Vegas
Do your research on your vendors to make sure they are reliable and professional. We would highly recommend reading the reviews. We heavily relied on our vendors since we are not from Las Vegas. Also, ask your vendors for recommendations for other vendors. Our photographer, Gaby J, was very helpful in recommending us to some great vendors. Try to plan multiple events for the wedding weekend in which Vegas is great place to allow that. We had multiple events like the rehearsal dinner, after party, a meet up in downtown Vegas, and a dim sum brunch after the wedding day to allow us to see our friends and family from near and far.
