Sunset Ceremony at Legends Ranch | The Amberlight Collective

Legends Ranch | Little Vegas Wedding

Jill and Nick were married at Vegas’ off-Strip rustic beauty: Legends Ranch. This all-inclusive location is a beautiful option for a one-stop-shop outdoor wedding for combined ceremonies and receptions. Jill and Nick made the venue their own, adding Vegasy touches such as huge monogram marquee letters which not only make great photo opportunities but keep things modern and personal.

Choosing sunset for their ceremony made for cooler, happier guests but also incredible lighting in the photos, as evidenced in this post. Read for more about this wedding from their photographers at the Amberlight Collective!

More from Amberlight Collective, their photographer:
One of my all time favorite venues, Jill and Nick chose to have their wedding at Legends Ranch. Why is it my favorite? I love it because it has a small town feel, is all-inclusive, and is only minutes from the Strip. Love, love LOVE IT!

In addition to the completely incredible rustic theme, the property itself has SO many opportunities to customize the space for your big day. Jill and Nick chose to bring along several small signs with sayings on them to make the space feel like their own. Their monogram letters turned out to be the total centerpiece of the reception.

They held their ceremony under towering trees in the lowered courtyard just outside the main lodge. Holding their ceremony at sunset was great timing as the Vegas heat dissipated and the sun created golden light all around. Jill’s uncle officiated, which made the ceremony that much more special for the couple and their family and friends.

My favorite part about the whole ceremony was right after the couple was pronounced and walked down the aisle for the first time as husband and wife. Their eldest daughter was overcome with emotion and couldn’t stop hugging her dad. It was the best, and so precious.

After the sun set, the real party began. There was a dance floor surrounded by retired stables, and the head table was placed on a risen stage surrounded by vintage decor, and of course, those amazing giant marquee letters. So. Much. Fun.

The entire reception, every single guest was laughing and having a great time, including in the photo booth. The night culminated in a dramatic sparkler exit near the stables, and I have a feeling that once I packed up my gear for the evening to go home, Jill and Nick’s party was just getting started. I loved every moment with this couple and their beautiful family, and I can’t wait to see what the future holds for them!

Woodsy, Rustic Wedding at Legends Ranch | The Amberlight Collective

Legends Ranch | Little Vegas Wedding

From first touch to last dance, Bridget and Jason infused their wedding at Las Vegas’s Legends Ranch with rustic goodness. Sunflowers, wood and glowing candles created a romantic, casual atmosphere.

The Amberlight Collective were not originally going to shoot this wedding, but when Bridget and Jason’s original photographer had a family emergency, wedding planning Archel Rolwing recruited them. Using a planner was key for these two as they were travelling from California to get married, with just four months to plan. After touring the grounds of Legends Ranch, complete with trees, horse stables and all the rustic touches of a former working horse ranch, they were smitten.

FAVORITE MEMORY

My favorite and most special part about the entire day was probably when Jason and I got to pray together before the ceremony and before even seeing each other. That, to me, meant so much. I remember being so incredibly nervous about the whole thing but as soon as I heard Jason’s voice (which was also super weird without being able to see his face! Especially since I hadn’t seen or talked to him all day long) I calmed down almost completely.

DETAILS + DECOR

Some of the rustic touches of the wedding included multiple sized glass cylinders with candles burning inside at the altar, perched atop old tree stumps. Tablescapes featured twisted driftwood with mason jars and wine bottles full of flowers and wine corks sprinkled throughout. The cake was modelled after an aspen tree that we carved our initials into.

Instead of pouring unity sand or lighting a candle, we had a wood board with three ropes on it and a verse — A cord of three strands is not easily broken, from Ecclesiastes 4:12. The two ropes on the outside represented us, with the one in the middle representing God. We braided the three ropes together which meant that we were tying our marriage in with God right in the middle.

I never tire of rustic wedding style. The natural, relaxed style is the perfect fit for a casual wedding. So if you have your eye set on a Western, ranch or rustic themed wedding, be inspired by this styled shoot! Warm Rustic Wedding at Spring Mountain Ranch from Taylored Photo Memories

Real Weddings | Little Vegas Wedding For rock climbers and Vegas locals Carrie and Kimball, their wedding was all about their own personal relaxed style and the great outdoors! So much of their rustic wedding was DIYd or handmade by friends and family, keeping this a memorable experience for all involved. They even used their 1999 VW Eurovan Camper as wedding transportation and staging area, Carrie doing her prep and makeup in there! Super-sized lawn games entertained the crowd at this daytime wedding reception, and allowed the bride and groom to mingle with their guests in the beautiful grounds of Spring Mountain Ranch, overlooking the mountains they love to climb so much. Stunning. WHY LAS VEGAS?

I live here in town and loved the backdrop of Red Rocks because my fiancé and I have climbed out there for years. The blue skies and the Red Rocks look stunning, also the outdoor opportunities around Las Vegas are one of the reasons I love this town so much. Originally Spring Mountain Ranch directed me to the wrong wedding location. I was surprised the week before when I learned that I was planning on the wrong field. It was a little windy the day of, but it turned out beautiful. McKenzi helped me navigate some of their rules and regulations pertaining to a photo permit. Also, the field that I ended up getting married on had a little horse poop spread around for good measure. If you are really OCD about these things, I wouldn’t recommend getting married at Spring Mountain Ranch. THE CEREMONY — Spring Mountain Ranch State Park

The ceremony was very simple and we planned it together. A good friend of ours, one who was part of lives before we started dating, married us. The theme was country rustic, with sunflowers, and my friend Andrea did an absolutely amazing job arranging all of the bouquets of sunflowers and decorating them on the altar. THE RECEPTION — Spring Mountain Ranch State Park

The reception was catered by Café Rio, because my fiancé and I love that place. Also, their catering prices are substantially lower than classic vendors. We had a four-piece bluegrass band play and had some large lawn games for the guests. I think day weddings can be kind of lame (as no one drinks quite as much as at a night wedding) so we had a “giant game” theme. Andrea and Mike Tomlinson made this awesome GIANT cornhole, with giant beanbags that you had to use some muscle to throw. There was also Jenga, giant Pick-up sticks and a few others. We had a photobooth with props that was really fun and the vendor created a book of all of my friends doing funny poses.

DIY DETAILS + DECOR

My invitations were guaranteed to arrive to me but got lost in the mail (go USPS). The invites at my wedding were a last ditch effort by my roommate Madeline and my sister, purchased at Walmart. They were done literally the night before on our home printer! Real Weddings | Little Vegas Wedding

VIVA LAS VEGAS

I had a pretty fun bachelorette party the Friday before the wedding — some of my best girl friends went to classic hangouts in old downtown Vegas!

GUESTCOUNT + BUDGET

We had 40 guests and spent about $11,800 total including our rehearsal dinner and two nights of hotel rooms. Real Weddings | Little Vegas Wedding Real Weddings | Little Vegas Wedding Real Weddings | Little Vegas Wedding Real Weddings | Little Vegas Wedding
