Welcome to Throwback Thursday, when we delve into the archives of Las Vegas photographers, wedding vendors and wedding planner blogs to reveal weddings you may have missed.
Lake Las Vegas is a world unto itself and is, quite frankly, a breath of fresh air. Literally. European inspired architecture, cobbled streets and water all around you…a few Lake Las Vegas resorts offer weddings, and they’re all stunning, each with a different style, theme and venue offerings. (You can even get married on a boat!) It’s also a great place to keep in mind for exceptional engagement photos.
Stay tuned for a more recent Lake Las Vegas wedding at the Westin featured on the blog tomorrow. The blue and yellow palette and the theme for this destination affair are must sees!
Cami and Patrick – featured in today’s earlier Calico Basin engagement post – chose to hold their fantastic all-in-one wedding ceremony and reception at Sunset & Vines, a restaurant located on the shores of Lake Las Vegas. The event, captured by Gin and Sake Productions, had vintage vinophile vibe with rustic elements that tied together the things most important to the bride and groom – a romantic atmosphere, great food and wine, and family!

Today’s wedding of Matthew and Amanda is a lakeside affair on the shores of Lake Las Vegas, so it’s very fitting that the couple went with an aquatic theme for the event. Although they chose blue and white colors to accent the wedding, the nautical feel did not stop there. Shells, seaglass, sand, even the bride’s gorgeous deconstructed fishtail braid hairstyle carries the fresh airy ocean theme for the event which was held at the Aston MonteLago Village Resort. The details were all carefully captured by Gaby J Photography.
The ceremony was held under the gorgeously intricate outdoor courtyard gazebo amongst the Mediterranean style buildings. Wedding portraits were taken around the shimmering blue Lake Las Vegas and the gorgeous gardens, and then the reception moved indoors to the light-filled Riva di Lago hall.
