This couple, Tony and Eliza, met with Josh & Jen Photography out at the always enchanting Eldorado Canyon for a few photos from a “regular couples portrait session.” As is the case recently for Josh & Jen, one half of the couple had other plans in mind, and Tony totally surprised Eliza with a ring and a marriage proposal mid-shoot. I love the sequence of photos as Eliza realizes what is going on! I have a lot of respect for these kinds of proposals – I totally would not be able to keep the secret!
Tony and Eliza met online, but were not originally both living in the Vegas area when they initially got to know one another. After a few meetings (including a first one that turned a short detour on a cross country road trip into two days together) Tony moved to Las Vegas. “We’re both certain that we fell in love on our first date. There wasn’t any doubt in our minds that we wanted to be together and that we’d do anything to make that happen.” wrote Eliza. Awwww!

Theresa and Dee were photographed by Dee & Kris (two Dees at one shoot? That must have been confusing!) who call themselves Crazy Photographers for Crazy Lovers. This elopement was just that – this young couple were wrapped up in each other in almost every photo taken. I love the washed out desert colors as the sun sets behind them.
DeAndre, the “D” of “Dee & Kris” writes: “We had the most amazing time in the desert of Las Vegas with Theresa & Dee. This fun loving couple was just a dream come true. I had a feeling that this couple will grow old together with tons of fond memories about life and lifes adventures.”

Eric and Paige are from Missouri, and served as super cute models for this fashion shoot by Missouri photographer Lindsey Pantaleo. Wearing a couple of gowns generously provided by Norman’s Bridal (a bridal shop in Springfield, Missouri) she modelled in and around downtown Las Vegas for a portion of the shoot, then headed for the desert for a few more photos. Eric and Paige were engaged at the time, and were married later in 2012. I think you can see the chemistry between them…especially in the bedroom photos taken at the Golden Nugget Hotel.
The downtown photos are total glamourpuss. I think the mix of the fur, Eric’s fedora, the vintage signage and the twinkling lights look so great, and like they’re from another decade. So beautifully done.
