Hot Pink Mandalay Bay Wedding & Burger Party {Burger Bar, Mandalay Bay}

This gorgeous in-suite wedding ceremony and ensuing reception was shot by the always great Mike Lichtenwalner. He had this stunning couple to work with, and what looks like a rowdy party at Burger Bar. That place is tiny and dark – sure can’t tell from the photos though! The party then continued back in the Mandalay Bay Vista suite with custom cocktails and cupcakes. Love it, and the pink Vegas-inspired signage and details.

Hot couple, right!?

I love the intimacy of the in-suite ceremony. This one was in a Vista suite at M.B.

A Very Modern Elopement {Aria}

Aria Las Vegas exudes this sort of cool, calm glamour with architectural highlights and completely modern details. So it makes sense that an extremely fashionable couple from New York City would choose to elope there!

Stephanie and Brandon had their ceremony in a penthouse suite in Aria, did dinner at Jean Georges Steakhouse (complete with a Freed’s cake – the same people who did the cake for Stephanie’s mom’s wedding years before) and then did a shoot with photographer Brian Leahy all over the property. She wore a Nicole Miller gown and he wore a completely ensemble by Burberry Prorsum. Feast your eyes on this completely chic, couture wedding.

Loving the circles Brian Leahy captured in these photos. My eye was immediately drawn to them.

Bride Stephanie looked fabulous in her Nicole Miller dress. Rock those curls, girl. Brandon was incredible in that Burberry Prorsum suit.

That wedding party wins for most fashionable, ever.

Circles again!

New Suites at MGM Grand Perfect for Weddings

I know due to their price point and ease of getting guests up to the room MGM Grand was a popular place for hosting small afterparties, rehearsal meet and greet parties and even receptions in their suites. I looked at them myself for my wedding afterparty, but decided not to go with them because people complained about the rooms looking a little run down. Some had amazing outdoor hot tubs, patios and views, but I did not want chipped furniture, broken doors or dripping faucets.

However some good news, as MGM Grand overhauls their behemoth property. They are redoing their suites and bringing in four new kinds. I just looked at the photos of their new rooms online and they are pretty beautiful, and the prices are still very affordable.

1500 sq ft prices starting at $565 the Skyline Marquee Suite (above) is one of my favourites. It’s a two bedroom and features a billiards table. There is the very similar Skyline Terrace Suite – but it features a nearly 800 sq ft patio overlooking the Strip. Decision decisions…

Prices, photos, floor plans and more available at MGM Grand’s site. Thanks to Five Hundy by Midnight Las Vegas podcast for talking about these new suites.
