Following their Mormon wedding at the Las Vegas LDS Temple, Carlee and Nathan had a wedding portrait session with AK Studio and Design. The wedding ceremony was in late October, and the gorgeous setting sun highlights this truly loving couple so well.
Carlee’s loose flowing curls are perfect for the modest lace-sleeve dress she chose. Her beautiful peach toned peony filled bouquet matchs her bow-backed flats. Of course, Nathan looks spectacular in his fitted suit, as well. This is more like a magazine shoot, not a wedding!
Her shoes are the cutest!

Today’s couple, Robin and Eric, came from California to get married in a little church, then celebrate afterwards at Red Rock Casio. My favorite image are the ones Manalo Empire Photography got of the couple around the property. It’s a really pretty resort, and looks surprisingly intimate in these wedding portraits.
I’m also in love with the bride’s short dress. I LOVE asymmetrical wedding gowns…

I am always excited to feature a Las Vegas church wedding ceremony on the blog, especially since Vegas has such gorgeous churches. Jamie Y shot this wedding and I love the photos highlighting the inside of the Guardian Angel Catholic Cathedral, just off the Strip. It’s glossy and light filled … and love filled.
The bride and groom were actually from Ohio, and this was a destination wedding! I love her make up and the amazing handmade brooch “bouquet” the bride’s mom made for her.
We had some time before their reception started at the amazing Eiffel Tower restaurant so we took the bridal party and headed downtown to the Arts District for some fun non-traditional settings for their portraits.
The girls were all able to pick out their own dresses in shades of pink and they looked beautiful together. The grooms men all had tan tuxedos with pink ties. The color combinations were perfect and went well with the warm summer weather. Jackie bought all of her bridesmaids necklaces which they wore as well as their hand made bouquets. The lunch reception at Eiffel Tower restaurant had a gorgeous view of the strip and the fountains at the Bellagio.
As always, there are more details and gorgeous portraits over on Jamie Y’s blog.

As someone who looks at a lot of weddings every day, the ones that reach out to me are the ones with smiling faces, real emotion and heartfelt details. (Okay, and I admit it…great shoes, too.) I think that is why I love this wedding that comes from MegRuth. It’s so crafty and original, you can’t help but smile when you look at the photos.
The bride and groom of today’s wedding are graphic designers, and you can see their original touches all across the wedding, from their personally designed letterpress invitations to the handmade-by-a-friend wedding gown. Also – there are pies at this wedding. PIES! I’m sold.
More of this handcrafted wedding can be seen over at Meg’s blog.

This beautiful wedding with touches of deep rose red was held at St Francis of Assisi in Las Vegas. Gaby Jeter of Gaby J Photo did a lovely job capturing the emotion, details and solemnity of the day.
His shoes are so great!
I am SUCH a sucker for Polaroids and I love the dreamy processed look of these ones Gaby took. They’re gorgeous and completely one of a kind. I hope the bride and groom treasure them forever.
