Little Vegas Wedding has featured weddings at St Joseph Husband of Mary Church before – it is one of my personal favorite spots for a classic church ceremony. The space is magnificient and perfect for the solemn exchanging of vows to one another, as Mishella and Carlo did in June.

Lake Las Vegas is a very popular choice for off Strip weddings. Photo: KMH Photography
I’m sure there will be a part two to today’s Throwback Thursday since there are so many wedding venue choices off The Strip! But these weddings highlighted today show off a great variety of very different spaces for weddings and receptions available if you are eager to avoid Las Vegas Boulevard.

Sasha and Patrick were married in a beautiful ceremony at St Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Henderson that was photographed by Myron Hensel Photography.
The pops of mint green worn by the wedding party went well with the bride and groom’s all white outfits. Isn’t the background of the church gorgeous?

The flutter of a peacock feather, a trip to In-N-Out, beautiful post-LDS ceremony portraits and handcrafted, arty details are the highlights of this wedding – oh, and a totally adorable and jubilant couple. The photos from Rachel at Brilliant Imagery are just that – brilliant.
The couple, Spencer and Stephanie, are Vegas locals who were married at the Las Vegas LDS Temple one beautiful winter morning. Stephanie rocked a very sculpted modest gown accented with amethyst purple shoes and a coordinating bouquet. Rachel took the couple to the Smith Center for some more portraits following their private ceremony inside the temple. The rainbow sculpture/installation by Las Vegas artist Tim Bavington is a beautiful spot for bridal portraits, isn’t it?
Of course, you get hungry when you’re getting married (depending on your anxiety level!) so where else to go but get it on animal style at In-N-Out? The kind staff made sure the bride and groom got a complimentary meal during their pit stop and a caricature artist eating at the fast food restaurant even provided a little sketch documenting the day. The whole wedding was full of little momentos like that, though – instant photos, chalkboard drawings, little books that kept the kids busy at the reception, a photo booth – all documenting a day full of love and memories.
Instant photos! YESSSS

I haven’t featured a classic church wedding on Little Vegas Wedding in some time, but today is a gorgeous return to them. The couple being married, Angelica and John, hired Stephen Salazar to record their wedding which began with getting married at St. Joseph, Husband of Mary, Roman Catholic Church.
The day was full of completely romantic details, including floral design by Naakiti, portraits on the course at Red Rock Country Club and a lacy gown with an elbow-length veil. But nothing tops the gorgeous interior of that church. It’s so amazing!
