Justin and Jane had a private ceremony at the LDS Las Vegas Temple, but headed over to Cili at Bali Hai for a ring exchange in front of family and friends and a tropical reception. Teal blues with pastel shades and whites featured alongside a casual, vintage vibe. The natural element was heavy, with wooden accents and botanical details. Perfect for this sunset celebration at what is one of my favorite Las Vegas country clubs.
More from KMH Photography:
Justin and Jane were married on a calm, clear January day at the LDS Temple in Las Vegas. Although I couldn’t view the actual ceremony, I waited outside to see them exit the temple. As their friends and family cheered, the couple’s brothers opened the doors and Justin and Jane appeared, officially presenting themselves as husband and wife. It’s a bit of a tradition after LDS ceremonies to do family and couple’s portraits around the temple grounds, so we spent a bit of time exploring the beautiful church exterior and manicured gardens. Later that afternoon, Justin and Jane had a ring exchange ceremony on the patio at Cili at Bali Hai, a beautiful country club golf course just minutes from the heart of the Las Vegas Strip. It gave them a way to express their commitment to their vows in front of their friends and family.

Ashley & Blayne were married at the Las Vegas LDS Temple, and celebrated afterwards with friends and family in a fabulous backyard wedding with a carnival theme. And they went big with the circus theme: a kissing booth and other fair-style attractions and games, pony rides, an actual big top, a carnival-inspired menu and more. They really captured the feel of a real carnival, I think: fun for all ages, and a casual, memorable vibe for a backyard affair. The photos were taken by a new contributor to Little Vegas Wedding: Chauntelle Graf – welcome, Chauntelle!

The flutter of a peacock feather, a trip to In-N-Out, beautiful post-LDS ceremony portraits and handcrafted, arty details are the highlights of this wedding – oh, and a totally adorable and jubilant couple. The photos from Rachel at Brilliant Imagery are just that – brilliant.
The couple, Spencer and Stephanie, are Vegas locals who were married at the Las Vegas LDS Temple one beautiful winter morning. Stephanie rocked a very sculpted modest gown accented with amethyst purple shoes and a coordinating bouquet. Rachel took the couple to the Smith Center for some more portraits following their private ceremony inside the temple. The rainbow sculpture/installation by Las Vegas artist Tim Bavington is a beautiful spot for bridal portraits, isn’t it?
Of course, you get hungry when you’re getting married (depending on your anxiety level!) so where else to go but get it on animal style at In-N-Out? The kind staff made sure the bride and groom got a complimentary meal during their pit stop and a caricature artist eating at the fast food restaurant even provided a little sketch documenting the day. The whole wedding was full of little momentos like that, though – instant photos, chalkboard drawings, little books that kept the kids busy at the reception, a photo booth – all documenting a day full of love and memories.
Instant photos! YESSSS

Following their Mormon wedding at the Las Vegas LDS Temple, Carlee and Nathan had a wedding portrait session with AK Studio and Design. The wedding ceremony was in late October, and the gorgeous setting sun highlights this truly loving couple so well.
Carlee’s loose flowing curls are perfect for the modest lace-sleeve dress she chose. Her beautiful peach toned peony filled bouquet matchs her bow-backed flats. Of course, Nathan looks spectacular in his fitted suit, as well. This is more like a magazine shoot, not a wedding!
Her shoes are the cutest!

As someone who looks at a lot of weddings every day, the ones that reach out to me are the ones with smiling faces, real emotion and heartfelt details. (Okay, and I admit it…great shoes, too.) I think that is why I love this wedding that comes from MegRuth. It’s so crafty and original, you can’t help but smile when you look at the photos.
The bride and groom of today’s wedding are graphic designers, and you can see their original touches all across the wedding, from their personally designed letterpress invitations to the handmade-by-a-friend wedding gown. Also – there are pies at this wedding. PIES! I’m sold.
More of this handcrafted wedding can be seen over at Meg’s blog.
