About the Blog
Hello! I’m so glad you’re here! I’m Kelly Zenkewich, and I am the publisher and editor of Little Vegas Wedding.
As I prepared for my 2010 Springs Preserve wedding (See more of my outdoor Vegas wedding here) I spent many hours online researching and wading through outdated, uninformative and often very spammy websites. I felt I could not trust many of the photos and information I found, most of which sounded like sloppily written shlock straight out of a commercial.
So I decided to start Little Vegas Wedding (LVW to those in the know) to service the need of couples getting hitched in Vegas, by sharing information and highlighting other people’s weddings in my voice – that of an authentic Las Vegas destination bride who went through it herself.
Using my passion for Vegas and weddings and armed with my writing and blogging skills, I designed LVW to feel like a magazine. There’s daily eye candy in the form of real Vegas weddings and elopements, engagement and bridal sessions and the most fun – styled shoots to inspire and get your creative juices going.
You’ll also find a directory of Las Vegas wedding ceremony and reception venues full of authentic photos I took personally on visits, to give you a better feel for locations to get married at. There are also interviews with Vegas wedding vendors, and posts highlighting Vegas appropriate stationery, dress options, restaurants, reception venues and more!
LVW is also a place for you to share your wedding, large or small. Sharing helps other couples planning their weddings see what is available to them, and hear real stories from real Vegas wed couples. So please consider submitting your Las Vegas wedding experience to share on the blog!
About Las Vegas Weddings
If you found yourself here because you are planning a Las Vegas wedding, either locally or as a destination event, congratulations! I truly feel that Las Vegas is one of the best places on earth to get married. It has something for everyone – ecologically friendly outdoor events, intimate cocktail receptions, rooftop ceremonies, Elvis filled chapel weddings, personal vows surrounded by the natural desert beauty of the Nevada landscape. The flexibility appeals to a range of wedding styles, themes, sizes and budgets.
And the vendors are fantastic! There are amazing photographers, caterers, florists, planners, officiants, hair and makeup artists, entertainers and a host of other wedding industry professionals there to help you at every step of the way.
I really believe there is no better place to say “I do!”
Meet the Editor

Before launching Little Vegas Wedding, I was a photo and website editor at a large daily newspaper. I’ve lived all over the world as a teenager and adult, and currently I live in the Rocky mountains of Canada. But I’d move to Vegas in a heartbeat!
I have many favorites (for example: Bangkok street food, Polaroid cameras, Earl Grey tea and winter sports like skiing and figure skating) but two of my most favorite things in the world are Las Vegas and weddings.

I’d also love to hear from you on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and Google+. I share my daily posts on those networks, but also lots of other bits of Vegas wedding news.
People have many assumptions about Vegas weddings, and so many of them are not true! Let’s prove them wrong!
Viva Las Vegas, baby!
